The first electric guitar orchestra Sinfonity is the fruit of careful and constant research; looking deeper, going further, biting the bullet.

Sinfonity is the connection of a group of masters gathered together to perform classical music with electric guitars in a way which they alone can do. From Bach to Holst, from Vivaldi to Falla. It is a staggering and thrilling experience.

Sinfonity is a breath of fresh air blowing through the singular music world. A world in which the music is always categorised as classical or popular. As if another renderings couldn't be! As if everything had already been told or invented!

“It is not by chance that there is no other ensemble like Sinfonity in the world. While the idea is easy to conceive, to make it real is something very different; to keep it on is nothing short of a miracle."(Pablo Salinas, Sinfonity's Musical Director)

Sinfonity's first live performance took place in Mérida's Roman Amphitheatre at the 2011 Mérida's Classical Theatre International Festival Opening Ceremony. Everyone felt astonished and was aware of the orchestra's huge potential. Since then there is a stable group of artists, that continues to grow, working hard to expand the repertoire. Sinfonity was formally presented at the end of 2012 in Fernán Gómez Theatre, Madrid, with an extraordinary reception by both public and critics. The project attracted a great deal of attention from domestic and foreign media. Sinfonity started a national tour on January 2, 2013, at the La Rioja's "Actual Impar" Festival Opening Ceremony. The partnership between Sinfonity and Vertigo Tours has made possible to design a more challenging show able to compete in the most demanding markets. Sinfonity presented its new large-scale show in May 2013, at the Alcalá New Theatre, Madrid, again to great acclaim of both public and critics. And the tour continues: Córdoba's Guitar Festival, Segovia's International Festival, Madrid, Málaga, Barcelona, Murcia, Bilbao, Paris, US, Cuba,...

"We have no choice but to strongly recommend this orchestra. It really is a unique, top notch experience. We were truly excited. We foretell to them a bright future." (Madrid, Villa y Corte.)

"The breathtaking quality and the nonstop dramatic effects displayed by these musicians were beyond words.Audacious when they had to, sometimes introspective, sometimes melancholic... Surrendered ourselves to their power, their subtleties were bringing us in and out with amazing ease." (El Día de Córdoba)

Media-Press

"Sinfonity project is a score of guitarists consorted to recreate the symphony orchestra's timbres in a distinctive way, without many tricks or effects. It sounds very good." (El País, Madrid)

“The staging is imposing and inspiring. The projections on the backdrop are related to the musical works. The lighting enhances the majesty, magic and timelessness of the music. From the beginning -Maurice Ravel's 'Boléro'- we are astounded and amazed by the marvellous combination that takes place: this graceful and organic fussion between rock, heavy metal, the electric guitar and the classical music world." (Metalcry)

"There is no sacrilege. There are no dark rituals. There is no blight. Nobody is crushing. There are no infidels camping on cotton fields. Blasphemous hymns cannot be heard. There is no perjury. Nobody is disturbing the peace of those who have already gone, deaf or blind. Those who used to create music by candlelight in past times are not shaking in their mausoleums. Reality is totally different, amazing."(El diario de Córdoba)

"Guitars everywhere. Guitars of every colour, size, brand and shape. There were no winds, no violins, but we could hear them and feel their presence. Anything was possible. Some choreographies resembled those of Big bands—getting up and down, doing the Mexican wave, guitar necks rhythmically moving...—; some others were inherent to big rock bands—Pablo Salinas taking a step forward and, just as it should be, shaking his mane." (El día de Córdoba)

"Pablo Salinas acted as a rock band leader conducting eighteen good musicians who recreated the traditional orchestra's timbres and nuances with the electric guitar's diversity of amplifications and tonalities. They demonstrated that contemporary people's soul and concerns were already in a symphony or in a classical concert."(ABC, Córdoba)

“The audience applauded enthusiastically asking for more, and they came back playing the thrilling FifthSymphony's First Movement.” (ABC, Córdoba)

“Musical performances are superb, delicate, inspiring. Some romantic, some exotic. Every member of the orchestra plays in a different way replicating the music of a violin, a piano or a flute.” (El Mundo, Madrid)

“Seraphic sounds from devilish guitars. It is so rare for a human being to see the historical moment in which devils become angels! And yet, we witnessed one of those moments.” (Mariskalrock)
