Fluid Treatment for Severe InfectionsWe are doing research to see how much fluid to give to children who have severe infections.  While doctors are treating your child, with your permission we would like to perform an ultrasound of your child’s heart and lungs and take a video recording as part of this research.  We will give you more detailed information about the research project and take your written consent when you are ready.
