It is time to start planning and preparing for our 3rd Vacation Bible School at St. Agnes. Volunteers (adult and teen) are needed!
Help can come in lots of ways, rather it be behind the scenes, preparation work, or during the actual week. Here are some ways you might choose to be involved leading up to VBS: Advertising · Donations · Registration · Decorating
During VBS, we need assistance with the following areas: Sign-In/Sign-Out table · Lesson Leaders · Craft Leader · Snack Leader · Activity Leader · Teen Leader
If you have any interest in helping this year, please contact the church office or contact Tiffany Hastings at [email protected] Registration and Volunteer (Adult & Teen) forms can be found on the St. Agnes Church website under: Mass Times and Special Events: Special Happenings.
Children’s Liturgy will begin their Summer Hiatus !
The last Children’s Liturgy before school ends is May 20th. We expect to resume this ministry with the start of the new school year in August or September.
Congratulations Sophia Frame! At the 24th Annual Bishop’s Dinner for Catholic Schools, Bishop Bransfield awarded Sophia the Aquinas Medal. This Medal is the highest award a stu-dent can receive from the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston. Through the Aquinas award, the diocese recognizes one student from each school for their outstanding qualities of faithful disci-pleship, academic excellence, leadership, and service to their school, parish, and community. The award reflects the ideals of Catholic educa-tion epitomized by St. Thomas Aquinas the Catholic patron saint of students.
