students at Vidya Niketan Sr. Secondary School , Alipur with career guidance in Optical engineering
and photonics . Mr. Rahul Vashista (President) and Ms. Yashika Chauhan (Vice-President) took the
sessions and shared their thoughts on Optical Engineering and Photonics. The career counselling
started with asking students about their goals and career plans. They also give the brief idea to
students about the career opportunities in Optical Engineering and Photonics in future. The idea of
organizing session by Ms. Amanpreet Kaur (Advisory) ,Mr. Rahul Vashista (President) and Ms.
Yashika Chauhan (Vice-President) was proved to be commendable. SPIE student chapter proud to
organize such a successful event and would like to convey thanks to school management for their
time advice and cooperation in organizing the session successfully .
Quiz(Optical Engineering)
A Quiz on Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning was organized by SPIE Student Chapter NCU on 4 Oct 2018.
About 40 students participated in the quiz competition. It helped students to enhance their skills for better
placements. Yazur Garg (BSc) bagged the 1st Position and Aitereya Shreyas Jha (BSc) bagged the 2nd
Position. They were awarded prizes and certificates and Certificates of Participation were given to all
participants. The event was coordinated by Gungun Saini and Akhil Arora, SPIE student members, ECE; Ms
