MBA @ Graves School The MBA Program is a two-year program consisting of nine (9) core courses and (3) electives (36 credits total), which would determine your specialization, i.e. accounting, finance, project management, etc. The Graves School of Business and Management (GSBM), established in 1944,  is committed to enhancing academic rigor and quality. Being the first Business School in the State of Maryland,  we have over 70 years of experience and expertise in preparing our students for the business world. Our highly dedicated faculty (over 90% with a doctorate degree in the discipline in which they teach) and staff continue to make student success their primary mission. She credits her faculty for giving her a "great foundation". Specifically, when it comes to Entrepreneurship, one of her fondest memories is how Earl G. Graves, a lecturer in GSBM, ignited a passion in people of color "to get us to start businesses, expand our way into the business community, and to become top leaders around the nation."
