SCHOOL SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR ACTS 20:35During September the ACTS 20:35 Clothes Closet will to start collecting school supplies for high school kids visiting the clothes closet. Place donations in the ACTS 20:35 tote out in the narthex. Thanks!

On Wed., Sept. 10 the OWLs, a group for those 55+, will take a trip to Madison to tour the state capital building and grounds, have lunch, and then head to Olbrich Botanical Gardens. They will leave the church at 8am and will be back at the church by 6pm. To reserve your spot or to ask question, contact Brian Narveson at [email protected].

COLOR RUN!Run with First’s team named “Light Up the World” on Saturday, September 13! Anyone who wants to join this team can go to the website and register! This run is being promoted by First’s Drawing from the Well group, and this event will be part of the group’s September 13th gathering. PRAISEHYMN NEEDS YOUTH!PraiseHymn needs young singers and musicians of all types, ages 12–18! The group performs contemporary Christian music and Christian rock once per month as part of our contemporary worship service. COME FOR SUPPERFirst Lutheran is assisting with Come for Supper on Tuesday, September 23, at Our Savior’s in La Crosse. First Lutheran will help with food donations and volunteering to serve and clean up. The sign up sheets are located on the Connecting Point table. NATIONAL YOUTH GATHERING 2015!On Wed. September 24th at 7:15pm in the Fellowship Hall there will be a meeting for all high school youth who are interested in attending the National Youth Gathering in Detroit, July 15–19, 2015.

NEW MEMBER SESSIONSWe offer several New Member sessions each year in order to acquaint new members with First and a small group of other newcomers. The next new member session will be Sunday, Sept. 28 from 11:45am–2:30pm, with New Member Sunday on Oct. 5. The nursery is available for use, but children are also welcome to be present.
