Wedding blessings are extended to Elizabeth Kramer & Benjamin Smaby ‘FIRST’ FLYERS A new bicycling group called the “First” Flyers starts Wednesday, June 4. The group is for both men and women and will be led by Pastor Ted Dewald. The group will gather at 10 am every Wednesday at First Lutheran for a 10- to 15-mile bike ride, traveling at 10 to 15 mph. The first outing will be on the Great River Trail. There will be a new route each week. Pump up those tires, put on your helmet, bring a water bottle and hit the road during the summer. Have fun, meet new people, stay in shape and pass the word. If you have questions, call Pastor Ted at 780-3643. SUNSHINE BOYSThe Sunshine boys meet the first Thursday and Friday of each month; the next meeting times are June 5 and 6 at 9am. Sunshine Boys help with outdoor or indoor projects. Rolls and coffee are supplied to replenish your reserves! Pick the day that works for you, and come both days if you feel so inclined!

STOP THE COMMERCIAL SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF CHILDREN Interdisciplinary training for practitioners and students in nursing, medicine, social work, law, business, law enforcement, and those who serve youth. BAPTISMAL PREPARATIONA baptism preparation session will be Saturday, June 7, at 10:00 a.m. in the narthex for anyone who is considering or has scheduled a baptism. Questions, please contact the church office.

BEFORE THE AFTERAnyone, any age, can use this planning tool to outline your wishes, prepare and organize pertinent documents and eliminate possible tough decisions for your loved ones. SENIOR RECITALS FEATURING EMILEE BERGMAN & DREW SAIZEmilee & Drew will have their senior recitals at First on Saturday, June 7 at 3pm. Everyone is invited!

YOUNG YOUTH TO WI DELLS!The young youth will go to Noah’s Ark in Wisconsin Dells on Friday, June 13. The park is open from 10am-6pm. Noah’s Ark provides “Youth Days” for groups at a really reasonable price. The cost is $18.50 plus tax for admission and a hot dog lunch. Everyone, regardless of age, is the same cost. Even though this is a youth event, it will be more like a family outing. If there’s a child who absolutely can’t have an adult come with them, let Katie Everson know ([email protected]), and we will work it out. We want everyone who would like to come to be able to participate.

VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION PICNICJuly 20th, noon to 2pm at Onalaska’s Community Park, Lion’s Shelter. People can sign up at the Connecting Point table or by emailing [email protected]. If you have questions, contact Kathryn.

SUGAR CREEK GOLF TOURNAMENT FUNDRAISERMon., July 28, Drugan’s Castle Mound. First Lutheran will form a team for this fundraiser. Contact Pastor Stanton with questions & to RSVP: [email protected].

SUGAR CREEK NURSE NEEDEDSugar Creek Bible Camp needs a nurse for the week of July 20th; even just part of the week would be appreciated. The nurse can bring younger children with her or him, and they get a week of free camp for one child. We certainly can divide up time if necessary.
