It is with GREAT pleasure and thankfulness that I will like to share with you my NEW ADVENTURE! After many years of thinking I have decided to follow my dream of working independently doing what like the most; helping people, networking, and sharing my knowledge. In October 2015, I left my full time job, and became a Licensed Realtor in the State of Louisiana. I joined the wonderful Keller Williams Realty family in February 2016.

I have found that by becoming a Realtor, I will be able to accomplish these goals. Through my services I will be helping people to achieve their dreams and to improve their lives by finding their dream homes and assuring housing stability and why not even gain some financial freedom.

As you know, after finishing medical school in Colombia, South America and getting married, my husband and I decided to move to the US to continue our education. We thought that we were coming to USA only for two years but at the end we decided to make this great country our home.

After completing a master’s in Public Health at Tulane University, I worked for 17 years educating patients, providers, doctors and nurses in HIV. During all those years I became proficient in quality management and in health information technology. The most important thing that I have learned during my medical and public health career is that health is not only physical, but emotional as well. You need to be able to achieve your dreams, to be healthy and happy.

Within the past several years, I have learned about real estate investments, passive income, and property management, this has allowed me to appreciate and value the importance of Real Estate in regards to the social benefits that homeownership can offer to families, and communities. I know as a fact, that I can combine both my passion for Real Estate and my love for Public Health. I know that homeownership in addition to tangible financial benefits brings substantial social remunerations for families, communities, and the country as a whole by improving educational achievements, civic participation, and health benefits. This makes this new adventure for me much more exciting.

Studies have shown that when individuals own their homes, the crime rate in their communities is reduced, need for public assistance diminishes and property maintenance improves.

I am convinced that through education and understanding of all the different possibilities that this country offers for homeownership, people can achieve their dreams and become homeowners. Or, why not invest in their future and to acquire some passive income through rental properties? You may even be able to create a legacy and secure the future of your families and descendants. There are so many ways to do it. You just need to know how.
