    Known as the heart of the catholic church, its muchmore than a simple city. We can encounter manyidioms, but the ofcial languages are Latin andItalian. The ethnic groups found in this city aremostly Italians and Swiss. This last one because theofcers that take care of this city are the SwissGuards.

    The Government is Ecclesiastical, sacerdotal-monarchical, its sovereig n is the pope, BennedictXV1, but the president of the government isGiovanni Lajolo.

    With only 0.44 km 2 , its the 233rd country around the world. It has a population of 826 people. Itsindependence was in February 11th 1929, from theUnited Kingdom.

    Their currency its the Euro ( ). Their time zone isUTC +1, and their calling code is +379. It may besmall, but it has one of the most signicative thingsfor the catholic church.

    CERN

    The European Organization for NuclearResearch, known as CERN is the worldslargest particle physics laboratory. The mainbuilding for this enormous project is locatedin the northwest suburbs of Genova, in theFranco-Swiss border.

    Denitely a big place, with around 2600full-time employees, and 7931 scientists andengineers. This lab is the only one in the

    world that has successfully made a particleaccelerator. It has also made some importantscientic achievements, like in 1995, theyrstly created an anti hydrogen atom.

    We cannot miss this place during our

    journey. Its an amazing place, to knowmany things that weve never herd of.

    Santa Maria della Vittoria Basilica

    This beautiful place is a small basilica church, inRome, on Via XX Settembre. This church begunas a chapel dedicated to Saint Paul for theDiscalced Carmelites. Even though, because of several controversies, the church wasrededicated to the Virgin Mary.

    Castel Sant' Angelo

    The Mausoleum of Hadrian, usually known as

    the Castle SanAngelo is a towering cylindricalbuilding in Rome. It was initially constructed by the Roman Emperor Hadrian as a mausoleumfor himself and his family. This has later becomea castle, then a museum.

    Thought this journey, well visit all the places in this brochure, so fell free to explore and readabout this places, denitely places where weshould be before passing out.

    This plaza is located directlyin front of St. Peters Basilica,in the famous Vatican City.

    This quite open space wasdesigned by Gian LorenzoBernini, from 1656 to 1657,under the direction of Pope

    Alexander VII.

    Its formed of 248 collumnsand 88 pilasters. Also, more

    than 140 saints srown thecornice.
