Introduction
There is currently no automatic way to
analyze geobody uncertainty inside ofPetrel
workflow
In this case a second nested workflow is
used

Data requirements
Top and base surfaces for each geobody,
organised into a folder for each body
Copy of original GeoBody property

Workflow 1
This workflow is designed to expand the
geobody by x number of grid nodes
This is done on the surfaces which define
The expanded surfaces are looped back
into the geometrical modelling process,
connected volumes is run and yourproperty will change

Make a new folder in the cases tab and
drop into the beginning of the workflow
At the run command in the workflow drop
Make sure the correct property is being
used in the volume calculation

Quantifying The Uncertainty
At the moment this is done in the
expansion process by using a variable
The smaller this range the more runs you
This is also controlled by the bin spacing
of the input surfaces, it may be desirable
to resample them to a finer increment

Conclusion
This appears to be the only way to assess
uncertainty in the geometry of a geobodyat this time within Petrel
sides of the geobody
