Target audience: going over the website seeing how it works and how it is layout the target audience seems to be between 18 – 25. The website being about travelling 18 – 25 is the main target audience. The website is easy to use and made up of bright colours which the target audience would relate more to than older. The website shows images of groups of people who have travelled with this site/company and they are all in the ages of 18 – 25.

Aesthetic quality: the quality of the website is very good as it has many bright colours which make the website standout. The website looks very professional as it has a logo, a theme of colours and an easy layout.

Page 2: Analysing website

Layout: the layout is simple as you can see in the image above it is set out to be very easy to use. It has its navigation bar with the main options of the website to help you find the pages you need. In the middle it has a search box which will help you get directly to the hostel/place you would like to go/know about. The website has a box in the right corner where you can find the information on your own booking with the company. At the bottom of the page the website also contains more links to give you more information about your holidays.

The type of Images to be used: the types of images used are images of the groupie tours, the places that the groupies can go to, other holidays for bag packing and hostels which are to visit.

Publishing format: the website is published as an html as it is on internet explorer as www.yha.com.au. The website also has JavaScript animations and other uses of JavaScript to use on the website..

Legal and ethical considerations: the legal and ethical considerations of the website are to all races, gender and sexuality. The colours are unisex so they are not aimed straight to any gender or race.

The website being about travelling 18 – 25 is the main target audience. The website is easy to use and made up of bright colours which the target audience would relate more to than older. Aesthetic quality: the quality of the website is very professional and the site seems very different to an original website, the colours of the website go very well together and make the site stand out. The colours and images of the website make the website seem more of a holiday, waterpark website though which isn’t the audience they are trying to atract.

Layout: the layout is very different to an original layout as it is set out with images and no links apart from the navigation. The navigation isn’t a bar, they are just rollover buttons sat at the top of the page that lead to the pages mention. The pages have a theme and colour which is like a water theme. The layout of the other pages is all similar in the way that everything is in the middle of the pages.

Layout: on each page at the bottom has the banner which is also unusual to a normal website. The banner contains screen icons and options to choose from to explore the site further
