REMINDER OF SOCIAL MEDIA DO’S AND DON’TS
• Do google your name and check out what is showing online
• Do give to get-Networking works both ways-the more you are willing to help someone else, the more likely they will be able to help you. Take time everyday to reach out to your connections. Write a recommendation on LinkedIn, offer to introduce them to another connection, share an article or news with them.
• Do promote yourself. Share accomplishments, articles you have written or professional challenges you’ve overcome
• Don’t forget your spelling. Poor spelling and grammar will discount your professionalism
• Don’t join groups or post things that may be considered unprofessional or inappropriate
