Nokona uses only the highest quality top-grain Steerhide Leather, sourced and tanned to our specifications in the United States. Our Steerhide Leather is known for its distinctive character and feel, while providing ideal structure and durability for the highest-performance ball gloves. Nokona uses Steerhide Leather in our full-steer gloves, including our signature Walnut™ series, and in combination with American Bu�alo Leather in our Alpha Select™ series.

A tough, light-weight, and easy-to-break-in leather. Bu�alo Leather is ideal for our Select and Select+ gloves, and for any player looking for a durable, flexible, and easy-to-break-in glove.

A high-performance and specialized leather that is stronger and lighter-weight than any other ball glove leather. Kangaroo Leather also has greater abrasion resistance and perspiration resistance, which improves durability and extends the life of the glove. Sourced from wild-range kangaroos from Australia, Nokona has been making gloves with this unique material for over 50 years. When combining Kangaroo Leather with our Steerhides, it is called Steerhide-Kangaroo or Buckaroo™.
