• The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission

- all must have equal job opportunities

• Walter was a chauffer- complained about it- not the highest pay

• Bennie wanted to be a doctor

- A lot of women didn’t have jobs

- most would just go for nursing

- Bennie wanted to be a doctor and everyone said she couldn’t do it.• Dreams take a lot of work to

achieve- study hard in college- a lot of writing- raising money to be able

to move- Bennie was tight on

money and still went to medical school• Sometimes they don’t come true

- being a writer is a long shot

- Walter never achieved his dream of being apart of a liquor store

• Everyone has the right to a happy life• No one should be looked down on due

to:- race, gender, religion, etc.

• All people should be given the same opportunities

• Skin is just a color.
