Alumni Manager - Objective

This application automates the process of alumni management and provides an interface to passed out students of an institution / university to communicate with existing students.

Enable them know each other and help the institution for better networking and assist students to know with industry trends and career opportunities

Alumni Manager– Need for System Institutions / Universities generally maintain the

information manually about the present and passed out students.

The manual process does not allow efficient data management and retrieval process as manual process is encountered with many challenges such as time, accuracy, redundancy and consistency

Our application brings both present and passed out students on one platform and organize them location wise, branch wise, year wise thus allowing them to communicate for various purposes and opportunities.

Modules

Admin : The administrator is responsible for user registration, account management and granting privileges

Event Manager : Notifies and maintains log of all the events conducted from time to time. Adds, Deletes and Modifies event details.

Alumni & Student : The Alumni/Student can register themselves and after the approval from the administrator they can login into their account and can send messages, post queries, update their profiles and even search for other student details.

ScopeUser account creation, authentication,

Conduct of actual event, contacting alumni officer, uploading of CV by students to alumni and discussion forum are outside the scope of present project and are considered for future enhancements
