DAVOS (1,560 m.a.s.l.) KLOSTERS (1,200 m.a.s.l)
Klosters is synonymous with its chalet-style village character. Its charm was discovered by film stars and the British Royals.
The unique Schlappin, Monbiel and Vereina valleys and the high-alpine region around the Silvretta glacier are within easy reach from Klosters. Klosters has been one of the most family-friendly holiday villages in Switzerland for many years. The diverse activities provide variety and fun for young and old alike. A whole host of hotels provide perfect accommodation, all complying with the exacting guidelines of the „Family Destination“ seal.

Sporting paradise, spa town, business town, cultural centre and après ski meet amidst a beautiful mountain landscape.
Davos is the ideal starting base for exploring the unspoiled nature in the Flüela, Dischma and Sertig valleys or the Walser villages of Monstein and Wiesen. The Schatzalp lies high up on a sun-kissed terrace directly above Davos at a height of 1,861 m.a.s.l., also known as the „Magic Mountain“. The mountain was made world-famous by the famous German writer and Nobel Prize winner Thomas Mann‘s novel „The Magic Mountain“ (1924).
In the tracks of the Olympic champion
Dario ColognaWorld, Olympic and World Cup Champion Dario Cologna has lived and trained in Davos Klosters for over a decade. The Swiss elite athlete finds ideal conditions for future excellence here. The world‘s best cross-country skiers are often to be found heading to Davos Klosters for training purposes.

Cross-country ski fun starts at the end of October
SNOW fARmINgIn Davos snow is stored over the summer to ensure that certain cross-country trails can be prepared as early as the end of October. This service will be massively extended from the 2016/17 winter season onwards. The trail length will then be longer than 5 kilometres. The trails are available to elite athletes as well as to recreational skiers.
„Snow farming“: In spring, snow is covered with a 40 cm thick layer of sawdust. The sawdust protects the snow from the sun‘s rays, ensuring that the snow can be preserved naturally.
