ALP_ONLINE: Alphacam Online Time Per HourAlphacam Online Time Per Hour C/Y Axis Lathe Training A one-day course using standard 2D Geometry or as a course based on the use of Solid Models to allow machining using the C and Y axis capabilities of multi axis turning machines. Basic use of Work Planes and Feature Extraction to allow the creation of the working geometries. Three methods of tool creation for use in the C/Y axis environment and the configuration of a 2D drawing for correct manufacture, tool side options and start points to suit correct machining. Comprehensive machining cycle application including Pocketing for area clearance, Rough & Finish profiling, Drilling and 3D Engraving. Prerequisite courses are ALP TRG 118A Standard 2D Lathe Geometry and Machining or confident experience in the Alphacam Lathe environment. Knowledge of ALP TRG 114 Feature Extraction is advantageous though not mandatory. For additional attendees on the same course as a primary attendee on ALP TRG 200.
