Knights of Columbus, Council 7570, All Saints received the
prestigious Star Council Award for 2019.
The award is based on the Council meeting membership
quotas and the requirements for the F. McGivney, Founders
and Columbian awards.
This is the second time in the Council history that the Star
Council Award has been achieved.
Congratulations to Grand Knight Jerry Vens, his Executive
and the members of Council 7570 for putting in their time
and talents to be awarded
the Star Council Award.

A time to be born…..keep in your prayers all expecting mothers and unborn children, the newly baptized children and their families.
A time to love…keep in your prayers the couples who are preparing for the sacrament of Marriage, especially Lauren Van Geffen and Aaron Bens who were wed on Saturday, February 15th, 2020 at All Saints Church.
A time to heal… Please pray for our parishioners, family, friends who are sick… Tim O’Brien, Joe DePelsmaeker, Victor Comeau, Ana Antunes, Ruth DeMaiter, Margaret Therrien, Theresa Labadie, Hollie Drouillard, and all who are sick and suffering.
A time to die….Keep in your prayers all the faithful departed, especially Lino Pimentel+ and Luis Ferreira+, may they and others recently deceased, rest in peace.

St. Peter's Seminary is holding a discernment retreat Feb. 28 – March 1 and invites men 17 years old and older who are considering a call to the priesthood. This weekend offers a firsthand experience of the life of a seminarian, spiritual helps for discernment, and an opportunity to meet current seminarians and faculty. Contact Fr. Looking for a fun night out with your
family? HCC Parent Council is hosting a Family
Volleyball Tournament on Friday, February
28th at HCC from 6:00pm to 9:30pm. Teams
will need to be co-ed and should have 8-10 players. Teams will
also need to consist of half HCC parents and half HCC students
(Note: Gr8’s who are registered to attend HCC in the fall can
be included in a team roster of current HCC parents/
students). Fee: $5 per person or $40/Team. If you would like
to play, but do not have a full team, you can register as a “Free
Agent” or smaller group and Hiedi will try to create a Team
from the Free Agent Registrations if possible.
Volunteers are needed for score keeping, registration table,
and refereeing. To register a team or volunteer ,please
contact Hiedi Britton-deJeu

The next Community Men's Breakfast at Glencoe
Presbyterian Church, 177 Main Street, will be held
on Saturday, March 14th from 8-9 am sharp. Our
speaker will be Bob Hansen who is the fire chief for Southwest
Middlesex. He will speak to us about a wilderness trip he made to
Alaska for the half hour from 8:30 to 9:00. All men are welcome
and bring a friend with you. There will be a free will offering to
cover expenses and our support of a minister in Cuba.
Food for Thought ...
● As Flu season approaches, please consider getting
immunized against the flu. If you do become unwell,
please stay home and take care of yourself.
● At the sign of peace please be careful when shaking
someone’s hand, for some folks with arthritis or with
eczema, a firm grip can be painful.
● Some folks are very sensitive to scented
products, such as cologne or perfume, so please
try to refrain from wearing them when in large
groups i.e. at Mass or other parish functions.

Lift Jesus Higher Rally: This year’s Lift Jesus Higher
Rally will take place on Saturday, Mar. 7 from 9 am – 5 pm
at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre N. Bldg, 255 Front
Street W. It will be a grace-filled day of celebrating God’s
love together with Cardinal Collins, Ralph Martin, and Fr.
James Mallon, featuring uplifting music, Eucharistic
procession, Confession and Holy Mass. There will be a
separate youth event with Christy Dupuis & Rachel
Herbeck.

regarding a bus leaving from All Saints
church site.
