Happy New Year! I pray each of you experienced a blessed Christmas and had time to “retreat” a bit with your family, friends and neighbors to celebrate the Incarnation. My own week was filled with fami-ly and friend gatherings. It was a JOY-filled time. In just a few short weeks, we will begin the re-enrollment and enrollment process for the 2017-18 school year! Stay tuned for more details. Last evening we had our School Board meeting. I left our meeting feeling grateful for the members of our School Board, our subcommittees and our financial state at this point in the school year! I am grateful to the individuals who have contributed to our Annual Fund as we have brought in over $5000. We are also seeking sponsorships for our Reach for the Stars’ Auction and to date have secured near-ly $5000 in Sponsorship with a goal of $20,000. There is still time to donate or to seek a sponsorship! A special thank you to Jens Emerson, Stephanie Warren and the entire Finance Committee for their continued hard work and commitment of time each has given to ASCS. Thanks to their hard work and commitment, we are placing the school on strong financial foundations. I have also included here a list of our Board Members. Board of Directors: Rev. SCRIP NEWS . . .
We had 19 families participate in scrip over the break for a total of $8050.00 spent on gift cards. This earned a rebate of $391.63; half which stays with our school ($195.81), and the other half is returned to the families in the form of a rebate ($195.81). Please consider scrip for all your shopping needs. It really helps our school!
Calendar Updates . . .
We hope you sold all your raffle tickets to
family and friends over the break. Don’t stop … keep selling!! We have plenty of raffle tickets available at
each campus office. Stop in to pick some up or send a note request-
ing more booklets.
Cardinal Club will be open
on Monday, January 16th at South and West
campus from 6am-6pm. Prices are as fol-lows for a non-school day: $21
for up to 4 hours, $35 for 4+ hours.
2017-18 School Year News-14 days until Open Enrollment! January is here and we are just 14 days away from the start of Open Enrollment for the 2017-18 school year! Open Enrollment begins on January 18, 2017. We are again requesting enrollment to be completed online via our website along with a tui-tion deposit to secure your spot. Communication about the enrollment process as well as 2017-18 tuition prices will be coming home soon. Our Catholic Schools Week Open House is scheduled for Sunday, January 29th from 11:30-3:30 pm at all 3 campuses. Help us spread the word and invite
your friends and families to join us!

Scholastic Challenge is a fun way to put your commitment to education to the test! If you like academic contests, are quick to answer questions in many different areas, and would like to represent our school, then this is for you! ASCS has done well
in this contest every year! The first round of tryouts will include taking a written test. Students who pass the written test will be invited back for the second round of tryouts, which will include
buzzing in to answer questions in many different categories. Our team will consist of six middle school students, most likely
some from each grade six through eight.
SCHOLASTIC CHALLENGE 2017
All challenges take place in the evenings at St. John Nepomuk Parish in Racine. Team members will need to be at ALL challenges scheduled for All Saints!
Dates for the challenges are:
Tuesday, February 7 6:45pm
Thursday, February 9 5:45pm and 6:45pm
Wednesday, February 15 5:45pm and 6:15pm
The top four teams advance to the finals on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017.
