AGR’s TRACS Training provides technical and commercial courses to the oil and gas industry. Our Training division is unique in providing customised courses tailored to each client’s specific needs. The tailored training courses have been run in 45 countries with more than 25,000 participants.

Unlike many other training providers, most of the course material is developed and owned by us. Most trainers have worked for international exploration and production majors, are practising engineers and geoscientists and on average have more than 15 years’ experience.

To ensure our material stays up-to-date, our tutors are also practising E&P consultants in their own right, and the tutor group includes technical authors and industry recognised Distinguished Lecturers.

THE TRACS TRAINING APPROACH:

• Constantly evolving course content to meet the needs of a changing industry

• Course materials are custom-developed

• The right training provided by the right tutors

• The structure of the programme is adapted to fit the client’s needs

• The courses combine classroom-based learning with practical application.

Software Solutions

P1™ See the unforeseen.

From planning onwards, P1™ can be utilised to monitor and improve well construction performance and to evaluate options in the event of a challenge. The software accounts for the fact that risks in well design are not intuitive, and that sometimes the lowest cost option may carry the greatest business risk.

P1™ adds value and knowledge throughout the project management process, from project selection, conceptual design right through to programme execution.

CT™ CT™ lets you do more than excel.

CT™ is a real-time Cost Tracker that incorporates the estimated costs for the individual phases and cost items that comprise a project enabling managers to more accurately track the financial status of their projects.

This impressive Cost Tracker can also re-forecast based on tracked data upon completion of each phase, ensuring no nasty surprises at the end of a project.

CT™ provides the following benefits:

• Provides a secure, centralised repository of all project costs

• Timely identification of potential cost overruns, omissions or inaccuracies

• Reduces unnecessary administrative efforts

• Improves reporting, allowing for more timely and meaningful analysis of data.

M2™ Materials Management made easy.

M2™ is a Materials Management software programme designed by AGR engineers that continually tracks the movement of equipment from the moment of selection, through the supply chain to its eventual return.

Unlike most systems in the marketplace, M2™ was developed by the user for the user:

• Full audit trail

• Continuous tracking through the supply chain

• Multi currency capability

• Simple installation process for this low footprint application

• Can support up to 500 concurrent users.

iQx™ iQx™ Intelligent Well Data Management.

2014 ONS Innovation Award and 2014 World Oil Award nominee, iQx™ software, was developed by two AGR drilling engineers. The purpose of the solution is to help simplify exploration, planning and execution of wells utilising relevant data from historical wells.

Currently the iQx™ software application incorporates well data and experience on approx 6,000 wells drilled on the Norwegian Continental Shelf to increase efficiency of data interpretation by drilling and reservoir engineers, improve skills transfer and minimise time spent on planning.

iQx™:

• Can save weeks of planning work

• Will ensure that all relevant data and experiences are captured for future interpretation

• Easy access to formation and pressure logs

• Enables increased performance in exploration and production.

At AGR, we are highly experienced in developing software for use within the oil and gas industry. Each of our systems is applied in-house at AGR which means they are tried, tested and trusted, providing real results for our clients. AGR’s software tools are continuously developed on the feedback from its end-users.
