A Fortune 20 Global Healthcare company,the customer is a leading manufacturerand distributor of diagnostic imaging andimaging modalities (CT Scanners, MRIs,Ultrasounds).

The customer wanted us to automatetesting of their CT application that runs onLinux in a hardened environment. Theapplication used Java, C++ and Xmotiftechnology and has a legacy of 20+ years.The application didn’t support testability.
THE CHALLENGE
algoQA was enhanced to test for scansetting in particular, and also to testapplications that don’t provide element IDs. All of this was completed in just about 3months, clearly validating the speed ofalgoQA as a solution. algoQA is also easyto use and provides wizard drivenconfiguration.algoQA is highly configurable, and not justimproves quality but also helps bringsdown overall effort and costs.
THE SOLUTION
THE RESULTWith minimal inputs, our platform,algoQA generated over 17,000 testcases along with datasets andexecutable (automated) testscripts. Not only did we automatetesting but also enhancedcoverage significantly. The originalmanual Verification Plan had only1500 test cases for the areachosen for validation.
The customer was one of the EarlyAdopters of algoQA. We enhanced algoQAto test the CT application exhaustively forscan setting, across various protocols fordifferent anatomical regions. From setting up the patient's information,to selecting a protocol to acquiring a scoutscan and acquiring the actual scan toclosing the exam and viewing the images,all of this was covered.
