The lid on the AERO barbecue

lifts up to an angle of 90 degrees

to the cooking surface, to allow

the release of the by-products of

cooking to be unimpeded by the

barbecue lid. As the by-products of

cooking is predominantly smoke, it

is imperative that they are captured

by the rangehood above.

For a mega joule output of 80,

the air movement of the fans must

be greater than the updraft from

the cooking surface. When utilising

the winning combination of the

AERO barbecue and the CONDOR

rangehood above, you will always

achieve the perfect result.

AERO barbecues

On the left is the Exlan hotplate which has a non stick surface for even cooking. When cooking fish,

it will not discolour, so it cooks and is evenly browned on each side. Once the hotplate is cooled it

can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. On the right is the open flame griller. The bars are square rods

on a 45 degree angle so the meat or chicken will not stick to the rods and the fat runs down to the base.

Above is the control knob for the burners and the piezo ignition. The thermometer informs you as to what

is happening inside when the lid is down.35

AERO Barbecue is so easy to use and

move about. The lid can be lifted with

one finger, and the temperature is

controlled by air being drawn in at the

back through the large vents and the

vents in the AERO name.

Another feature is the stainless steel flat plate

which is 10 cm thick which retains high heat

for perfect results. This plate is optional.

The AERO cover fits neatly over the barbeque

and trolley. There is also one available to fit

the barbeque only.

settings from 65 to 210c. From searing

steaks to evenly cooking fish or bacon and

eggs for breakfast. And for the children,

pancakes and hash browns.

Heat is only transmitted into the cooking

centre not to the surrounding areas,

for added safety.

Green light demonstrates the hotplate is turned on.

There are 10 different settings.

The Thurlö hotplate is a flat stainless steel surface. When the control is turned to the

setting required, a physical reaction of specially formed and pressed stainless steel

with electric heat causes the temporary thermal expansion of the steel down towards

the heat source, forming a shallow cooking surface.

When turned off it cools and reverts to a perfectly flat surface and this then doubles

as workspace.

Condor Rangehoods are designed and manufactured in Australia to

compliment all alfresco and outoor areas. The latest design in outdoor

entertaining can now become truly viable with the addition of a

Condor Rangehood. The Condor Rangehood will remove all

by-products of outdoor cooking – smoke, grease and odours.

Many barbecues installed in alfresco areas can be quite elaborate

and exotic. They can include different cooking appliances, such as

side burners, wok burners and rotisserie spikes, and are available

amount of smoke and odours.

The barbecues available in today’s market place can produce

an output of up to 130 mega joules. The air movement of the

exhaust system must be greater than the updraft caused by the

burners of the barbecue. The Condor Rangehood achieves this

via 3 forward curved centrifugal fan motors with a maximum air

movement of 2550 cubic metres of air per hour. This is matched

by an incomparable degree of quietness, which is achieved by fully

insulating the rangehood with sound-deadening material.

In an Alfresco area Condari now offers three settings making the choice

simple for complete satisfaction for your family and entertainment area.

The benchtop is stainless steel type 304 and the frame is in the same

material. The timber used is Merbau and is known for being durable and

retaining it’s colour for a long time even in harsh conditions.

This solves the problem of making all the individual decisions to set up your

new Alfresco area. All you have to do is select the dimension required and

just sit back and wait for delivery.

Q. What is the difference between a Condor Rangehood and a domestic Qasair Rangehood?

A. Qasair Rangehoods are designed to go over all the domestic cookware available on

the Australian market.

Q. Are the fans stronger in a Condor Rangehood?

A. No, they are the same as in the Qasair Rangehoods but there are three fans in the Condor

providing an air movement up to 2550 cubic metres per hour. Also the depth provides for

Q. Are Condor Rangehoods quiet?

A. Yes, because at a party the barbecue may be in operation for 45 minutes to an hour. So we have

insulated them so they are very quiet. Normal conversation can be carried on while cooking.

Q. Why are the switches on the front of the hood?

A. This is because of the heat in the updraft from the barbecue.

Q. Can the Condor Rangehood be made in marine grade stainless steel?

A. Yes but we believe the additional cost is not worth it as the type 304 stainless steel is adequate.

If by the sea, then wipe the hood with vegetable oil and this will keep corrosion at bay.

Q. Why buy an AERO Barbecue when there are so many others on the market?

A. AERO Barbecue’s are made in Ringwood 3134 and they have a heat output of 80 mega joules

which is a real barbecue.

Q. Will the AREO Barbecue rust near the sea?

A. All metal are subject to corrosion including stainless steel but the AERO is all stainless steel

including the burners, so it will last a lot longer.
