General Statement

The Alexandrian parrot is an ideal pet.

The Alexandrine parrot belongs to the the bird family because it has feathers, lays eggs, is warm-blooded and has a beak.

Description (colours)The Alexandrian parrot are usually fully green

and some black feathers underneith the wings and

tail.

only the male have an alexandrine parrot has the black and pink ring around thier neck.

Description (Bird Feathers)The Alexandrian Parrot can grow up to about 58cm (23in) and the length of

their wing can grow up to about 18.9-21.5cm (7.5-8.5in).

Habitat

The alexandrine parrot naturally comes from European countries and

particularly in germany and also in the south of England in Belgium, they can

come from in the west of Turkey and in the Netherlands.

BehaviourBaby Alexandrine Parrots start their

adult feathering between 18-30 months of age.

But sometimes show up as young as as a 12 or a full 36 months of ages.

It is hard to know if the parrot is male or female until a full 36 months of age.

DietThe Alexandrine Parrots diet is a mix of fruit

vegetables,seeds ,grains ,nuts ,berries/buds,flowers,corn ,rice ,chards and

nectar.

But as a pet their diet is mixed seeds.

NEVER FEED A BIRD ON A DIET SUNFLOWER SEEDS !

Thats like sugar to them.
