On 16 February 2010, pop musician and friend Lady Gaga performed an acoustic, jazz rendition of her hit single "Telephone" and segued into "Dance in the Dark" at the 2010 Brit Awards.

Lady Gaga wrote her hit song ‘Born This Way’ as McQueen ‘channelled it through her from beyond the grave’.

McQueen’s light fabric dress for Lady Gaga reminds me of Marilyn Monroe’s iconic dress. This is because of the delicate movement and petal/flower shape. The difference between the two is that Monroe’s dress in the wind was made to seem flirty, whereas McQueen’s gives off an impression of a butterfly or Goddess: rich colours, and fabric covering most of the body.

Celebrities can be seen as Goddesses or Gods, or royalty.

Here, Lady Gaga is dressed in an armour of gold and feathers. The golden armour is highly decorated like what you would expect to see on clothing and furniture for royalty.

Has it become normal for celebs to be decorated in metal clothing?

Death?

They have also used a pale colour scheme. However there is suggestions of bringing in odd/new structures for garments, that refer to the strange shape of Lady Gaga’s outfits.
