LEBANON is the small land of beauty and diversity.Situated on the Mediteranean Sea shore, just south-east of Cyprus and next to Israel and Syria, it encompasses thousands of years of ancient civilizations and mix of cultures.Home of the Phoenicians, Lebanon was influenced by manyhistorical populations, being conquered by the Roman Empire,being under the Ottoman domination, was French colony... being under the Ottoman domination, was French colony... that is why today, Lebanon is a one-of-a-kind country. It bears within its roots an Encyclopedia of tears and goldfrom the past.

Capital: BEIRUT, with approximately 1.5 million inhabitants,It is a city rich in culture and again diversity, with amazing nightlifeand breathtaking sea sceneries

Currency: Lebanese Pound (or Lira) and US Dollar - 1 USD = 1 500 LBP / LL) - you can use both of them!Languages spoken: Arabic, English, French

As Lebanon was influenced by so many cultures, even the cuisine is very diverseand borrowed dishes from the neighbour countries or developed its own.Lebanese are used to share their food when dining or having lunch, so don’t besurprised if that happens - it’s like sharing with your second family!
