    ith the message "Celebrating Victory

    rough Volunteerism", AIESEC in IUB

ganized a coastal cleanup in Cox's Bazaar,

n the Victory Day, to commemorate the

pirit of the freedom fighters with actions of

ommunity service to liberate against the

any difficulties we are facing today.

A delegation of around 20 people from

ESEC in IUB cleaned the beach for two

ours, with the help of the local salespeople

n the beach whose immense supportelped us find the areas filled with litter. The

    nthusiastic participants also encouraged the

urists and the locals to use the garbage

    oints situated in the beach.

The most common type of garbage

und in the beach were cigarette buds,

    utshells, polythene, papers, coconut shells,

plastic and bottles. Most of the waste we

produce on land eventually reaches the

oceans, either through deliberate dumping or

from fun-off through drains and rivers. Thiscontributes to marine pollution which affects

the climate and eventually all the living

    creatures on earth.

    The Coastal Cleanup helped us

understand that it is our responsibility to

protect our country and the assets for our

future generation. An initiative has created a

small footprint towards the starting of a

revolution of protecting our nation through

    volunteerism through taking responsibility of

our nation. It is our duty to protect this nation

and help this nation grow. AIESEC in IUB was

proud to be a part of this initiative and will

continue to achieve impacts through creatinga positive impact on the society.

ut this year the campaign had a new

ainees about their life back in their

spective countries and their experiences so

far in Bangladesh. "It is an amazing
