-Established in 1947 by Aichi Prefecture
-A doctoral-granting, comprehensive state institution
-Approx. 4000 students enrolled in 16 academic departments at undergraduate and postgraduate levels on two campuses:
Nagakute and Moriyama (in Nagoya) campuses
