After completing my DAE (Diploma of Associate engineering) I started my career with Hayat Brothers. This is private company located in Multan Pakistan. That was a Government project of Central Cotton Research Center. That is a double story building with a nice different style. We were having two buildings at the same place. 1 st was the College of agricultural Studies and the other building was nearby the Hostel for agriculture students Google Earth Coordinates E= 734739.00 m, N= 3337752.00 m At start my responsibilities were there to handle the labor and work under the Construction Forman. I learnt their Layout and Excavation for the footings and Columns, steel bar bending & Concreting of footings and columns. As time passed they have given me some more responsibilities like purchasing construction materials from the market, accounts handling and salary calculations for the staff and labor. In 6 months I was able to layout and alignment for excavation and formwork for the concreting, to check the quality of work done by the labor and masons, like masonry work, plaster, steel bar bending, Shuttering (Formwork) Etc. I have done my job very nicely and sincerely, my behavior with the labor was so polite. I worked there more than one year. I gained super experience from those two buildings. From Sub structure to handing over. I worked there and from a fresh without salary labor supervisor to a good and hardworking earning sub engineer I have passed a golden learning Period. That project was like a school for me.

Our next project was the building of National Television Channel. “PTV” Station Multan was another best project for me because I could learn many new technical things in that project. We had to build the sound proof recording studio, telecommunication system, central air-conditioning system, underground ducting routes for telecom and electric cables, Mosque, Tower foundation, Overhead water tank, generator shelters, bituminous road and parking, security cameras Etc. I was the senior sub engineer on that project; I worked there in assistance of Experienced Civil Engineer. He dictated and taught me whatever he could teach. I learnt from him to read and understand structural and architectural drawings. I have learnt estimations and quantities of building materials. My responsibilities and duties were there to layout, leveling, construction supervision, site inspection. Many different types of construction teams were working there as sub-contractors of different works like Central air-conditioning system, sound proofing, telecommunication, and aluminium.Because Multan is and ancient cultural city, that’s why cultural designing and tile work was included at the front elevation of building and outside the mosque. The construction of the dome and minaret of mosque was a special experience for me. PTV station was double story huge building, another part of a building were there connected with a bridge. I supervised a huge parking of tuff tiles and a long bituminous road. I feel proud that I was the part of a nice Construction company; they have given me a priceless experience forever.

That was a Government Project for keeping all the land record in computerized system so that all the land lords will be tension free about their lands and they could be safe from the Land Mafia.Punjab Government constructed these Land Record management & Information centers all over Punjab. I was working with IKAN Engineering services as a site supervisor. My Duties were there to Visit all the Centers nearby Multan City. I had 4 Buildings under construction in my Supervision. Two Buildings are in Multan City, one in Shujabad and one in Jalalpur Pirwala. My responsibilities were there to visit the sites, doing inspection of all the construction works done and running by subcontractors. We had 3 types of Designs for Data centers I worked there 1 year from layout for excavation to waterproofing of roof. Before handing over I resigned my Company Because of my plan to continue my Engineering Studies. During this job once they sent me in a Desert Area (Cholistan, Bahawalpur) to check the levels and steel bars for the foundation of Telecommunication Tower. IKAN engineering Company works with some telecommunication companies e.g. Mobilink, Telenor& Huawei. I have done my job very nicely and sincerely, my behavior with the labor was so polite. I worked there approximately one year. I gained super experience from those four buildings.

7 Month Experience from February 2010 to April 2012

After leaving IKAN Engineering Company, I started my B-tech Civil Engineering from Bahaudin Zikriya University Multan. With my education I also join Al-Maroof Associates. Because I had a good interest in Maps, Design, Drafting, Sketching and Etc. So after my Classes of B-tech I was going there and learnt there a lot of knowledge about Architectural works and Design. My AutoCAD 3 month course was beneficial for me. At Al-Maroof Associates I was a junior assistant architect. I draw Architectural & Structural drawings designed by my Architect. I designed many residential buildings, mosques and Housing schemes. I draw 2D & 3D Drawings. I can draw Complete Submission Drawings on AutoCAD. I have a creative & innovative mind to make a Front Elevation and Interior Specifications. My teacher and my boss developed design sense in me. I learnt from him to read and understand drawings and to recognize all the symbols of drawings. My duties were there to visit some projects under our supervision.
