Time Given: 3 minutes
• Last week in Julius Caesar, Caesar was killed. What were Caesar’s last words? What do they mean? Who was the first person to stab him? Who was the last person to stab him? How many times was he stabbed? If you were in the Senate when Caesar was murdered, what sort of reaction would you have had to the scene? Explain.

although this letter will never be received, it is Caesar’s fault!

We are half-way through the play. Now that Caesar is dead, no one directly controls
Rome. Power could shift to the Murderers of Caesar—Brutus,
Cassius, Casca, Decius, Metallus, Trebonius, etc.
Or
Power could shift to Octavius, the next person in line—the only problem is that Octavius is too young to directly take control of Rome.
