Hypothesis

Generally, the older a person is, the more skeptical he or she will be towards the benefits and effectiveness of online education.

Methodology

A simple, five question survey was administered via e-mail to all employees on a college campus. The first twenty completed surveys that were returned to me were used for this study.

This chart shows the average numerical total of the responses for each generation.

Summary

The data collected from these twenty individuals seems to support the general hypothesis that the older a person is, the more skeptical he or she will be towards the benefits and effectiveness of online education.

The results chart showing the clearly declining average numerical value to the responses in correlation to increasing age is a very telling visual aid.

The major flaw of this study is obviously the small sample size of subjects.
