We have a NEW TEACHER for ASA this fall!
We’d like to introduce Shannon Walter as TIAC’s newest ASA teacher! We loved our past
ASA teachers, but due to COVID and the different discharge times in the school system,
they couldn’t be with us this time around. Our outreach efforts led us to Shannon and
we feel very fortunate to welcome her aboard!
Shannon currently lives in Cape Vincent, NY and is a trained K-12 teacher and former
Director of Arts Education and Youth Programs at the YMCA (layoff due to COVID). She
has experience teaching art, creative writing, and photography. During her time with
the YMCA, Shannon successfully ran an After School Arts program that encompassed five
school districts. You can see Shannon’s work at https://shannonwalterart.com/home/
