CHRISTIE’S CLIENT E-NEWSLETTER, $995 This monthly real estate e-newsletter is distributed digitally to Christie’s clients and real estate subscribers around the world. Two spaces are available each month. (Note: current distribution is to approximately 50,000–75,000 Christie’s clients who have expressed interest in real estate).

Digital advertising options are now available programmatically and on Facebook through our online advertising portal. These ads target your luxury real estate listings to people either in the market for or interested in real estate and feature them under the Christie’s International Real Estate brand. The system uses sophisticated data-gathering processes to reach this target market and also offers the capability to geo-target select locations.

To place your programmatic or Facebook ad(s), log into the Extranet at www.christiesrealestate.net and click the red tab labeled “Co-Op Ad Portal” located at the top right of the page. From there, you will be automatically logged into the system (if you are unable to log in, reset your password or contact your regional office for assistance).

Once you are logged into the system, select the type of ad you wish to create. From there, the site will pull available information from your Christie’s International Real Estate website listings to automatically create an ad for you (with the ability to edit the text and photos to your preferences). If your listings are not in the search, you have the option to “Create a New Ad”.

Once you purchase an ad, your campaign will begin within 24 hours.

DIGITAL MEDIADigital campaigns may be purchased for $99 for one week/10,000 impressions or for $179 for two weeks/20,000 impressions.

FACEBOOK LISTING ADSFacebook campaigns start at $179 for one week.

DIGITAL MEDIA AND FACEBOOK FAQs

1. Programmatic Advertising: What is it?

Programmatic advertising is a set of methods to purchase advertising on the Internet using an automated decision-making process. These methods use artificial intelligence and a process called “real-time bidding” to target specific audiences and demographics. This approach improves targeting and, in fact, allows advertisers to buy an audience instead of space in a specific publication. When you place your digital ads using the Co-Op Ad Portal, you tap into Christie’s International Real Estate’s preset targeted selections (people either in-market for or interested in real estate) to deliver your message to.

2. Geo-Targeting: How does it work? What happens if I don’t use it?

Your geographic selections play an important part in creating your customized and targeted ads. When you place your digital ads through the Co-op Ad Portal, you may target users by city, state, and/or country. For example, if you would like to show your ad to people residing in a specific city, start typing that city into the geo-targeting field. If that city can be targeted, it will appear as a choice to select. If you do not see your city, try targeting wider (by state, region, or country). Note that targeting is less granular outside of the United States. To target outside of the United States, try targeting by major city or by country. Also note that a more granular selection can be added upon request. You must select at least one geo-targeting area for each campaign.

3. Viewing your Ad: Where will my ad be featured? Is it possible to see my ad in real time?

Your ads will be featured on an advertising network preselected by Christie’s International Real Estate to a target audience in-market for real estate or interested in real estate. Because the ad buying is automatic, knowing when and where your ads will be featured at any point in time is not possible. However, you will be able to monitor your ad’s performance via our Ad Portal reporting service.

4. Where do I find performance metrics for my ad? Are there reports I can provide to my clients?

You can find reporting for your ads in the Order Details for each ad which can be found at the following path: My Ads > View All Ads. From the “View All Ads” page, select the order number for any ad currently running. Once there, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the “Reporting” button.

5. Where can I learn more about Programmatic Ads?

6. Where is my Facebook Ad? I don’t see it in the Christie’s International Real Estate Facebook feed.

Your Facebook ad will run as a sponsored post across the Facebook network, based on the demographics and audience we have preselected (see below). Please note that, although your ad will run under the Christie’s International Real Estate brand, it will not appear on the Christie’s International Real Estate business page or feed.

7. What do the audience choices on the Facebook Ads mean?

There are currently several choices for audience targeting on Facebook:

a. South America High-End Real Estate and Goods—people in South America who are interested in luxury real estate or luxury goods

b. International, Asia/Oceania, Real Estate and Luxury Goods—people in Asia/Oceania who are interested in luxury real estate or luxury goods

c. U.S. Real Estate Interest—people residing in the United States that are interested in real estate

d. International, Europe Real Estate and High-End Interests—people in Europe who are interested in luxury real estate or luxury goods

Note: When you choose your geo-targeting for Facebook, you will automatically update the geo-targeting for your chosen Facebook audience.
