Organic Organic Field DaysField Days

NOFA-NY Organic Field Days are

a series of summer workshops led

by some of the most knowledgeable

organic farmers, gardeners,

and researchers in our state.

Approximately 1,000 people attend

NOFA-NY’s Field Days each year.

Th e NY Locavore Challenge is a month-long campaign aimed encouraging participants to try out new foods, take social action on important organic farming issues and become more involved in their local communities. Th ousands of individuals participate across New York state and beyond.

CSA FairsCSA FairsOur CSA Fairs promote local Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) to a

growing consumer base in New York state. To assist New York’s CSA farmers,

NOFA-NY holds a series of annual CSA Fairs in diff erent parts of the state

to promote regional food, publicize local CSAs, and encourage consumers

to enroll in a CSA near them. In 2013, CSA Fairs will be held in the Hudson

Valley, Long Island, the Capitol Region, Utica, Syracuse and Rochester.
