Proceso de AdmisinComo paso previo a la matriculacin es absolutamente necesario conocer si el perfl acadmico y proesional del candidato seajusta de manera adecuada a los requerimientos designados para cada programa de postgrado. Con el objeto de poder evaluaresa adecuacin ser necesaria la entrega de los documentos que se enuncian a continuacin:

Solicitud de Admisin: Recopila los datos personales, acadmicos y proesionales del candidato de orma genrica.El impreso de solicitud puede conseguirse:

Personalmente en cualquiera de los Campus de la Universidad Europea de Madrid. Por correo electrnico solicitndola a travs de la direccin [email protected]. En la pgina web de la Universidad Europea de Madrid a travs de los links:

Curriculum Vitae: Debe recopilar la inormacin reerente al perfl acadmico y proesional del candidato de maneraconcisa. Es recomendable la utilizacin de modelos curriculares los cuales se encuentran cilmente en Internet.

Copia compulsada del ttulo universitariosalvo en los programas para los que no se solicite, es requisito indispensable

la entrega de una copia del ttulo universitario compulsada por la Universidad de origen de dicho ttulo o por un notario.Tambin existe la posibilidad de presentar el documento original en uno de los Campus de la Universidad Europea de Madriddonde se podr hacer tambin eectiva dicha copia compulsada.

As a step prior to enrollment, we need to know i the academic and proessional profle o the candidate isproperly suited to the established requirements or each graduate program. The ollowing documentationmust be submitted or the purposes o assessing this suitability:

Application or Admission:contains personal, academic and proessional inormation o thecandidate in a general ormat. The application orm can be obtained:

Rsum: this should contain concise inormation relating to the candidates academic and proessionalprofle. We recommend you use the rsum templates readily available on Internet.

Certifed copy o your university diploma: with the exception o programs where it is notrequested, the submission o a copy o your university diploma certifed by your University o Origin or by anotary is a compulsory requirement. You may also present your original diploma at one o the UniversidadEuropea de Madrid Campuses where the above certifed copy can be validated.

In the event that you should not have the degree certifcate (or example, because it is being processed or hasbeen misplaced), a copy o the academic certifcate accrediting the completion o all credits corresponding tothe degree program may be submitted instead. This academic certifcate copy is subject to the certifcationrequirements mentioned above.

In the event that a degree program that allows admission to a graduate program is issued in a countryoutside o the European Union, its Legalizationis strictly necessary (see LEGALIZATION OF DEGREES below).

Copy o DNI (Naiona Idenifcaion Documen) or passpor: required to properly identiythe candidate.

3 passpor-size phoographs:these photographs are essential in order to be able to apply or theStudent Card via Banco Santander. Photographs must be passport-size and printed on photographic paper.

This documentation can be delivered to the heads o the Admissions Department using the ollowing methods:

COUNTRIES THAT HAVE SIGNED THE ANDRS BEllO CONVENtION:The degree certifcate or diploma must be legalized via diplomatic means. In order to do so, it mustbe submitted to the ollowing authorities:

Ministry o Education o the country o origin. Ministry o Foreign Aairs o the county issuing the degree. Spanish Diplomatic or Consular Representation in said country.

This procedure must be ollowed in these countries: Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Panama,Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela.

Note:countries that have signed both the Hague Convention and the Andrs Bello Convention mayaccept either o the legalization ormats, however the frst procedure is recommended as it is the moststraight-orward.

OTHER COUNTRIES:

The degree certifcate or diploma must be legalized via the diplomatic route,meaning that is must be submitted to the ollowing organizations:

Ministry of Education in the country of origin (in the case of Brazil, the BrazilianMinistry o Education does not need to stamp or validate the documentation).

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country issuing the degree. Diplomatic or Consular Spanish representation in said country. On arrival in Spain, the degree must be submitted to the Legalization Department

the Suden VisaNationals o countries that are not part o the European Union must obtain a visa or the same period o timeas the duration o the graduate program or which they are a candidate.

So that the student may ollow the proper procedures or obtaining their visa, Universidad Europea de Madridprovides students with an original admissions letterto the Masters Degree program, or which they are acandidate, speciying the program title, starting and end dates, number o hours and any other necessary details.

the Suden ID Card - NIEThe Student ID Card replaces the Student Visa issued in the country o origin and allows students to travel amongmember countries o the Schengen Agreement without the need or a visa. It also provides legal identifcationduring their study period in Spain.

Students must apply or the ID card within one month upon entering Spain and prior to expiration o theirvisa. This ID card will assign the student a Nmero de Identifcacin de Extranjeros [Foreigner IdentifcationNumber] or NIE. Until you have this card we do not recommend you leave Spain, thereby avoiding problems onyour return.

Submit the required documentation to the corresponding Foreigner Ofces in Spain.

After approximately three weeks, return to the ofce to have your ngerprints taken.

Within the period of approximately one month, return to the ofces to pick up your Student ID Card.

(These periods are approximate and may change depending on the workload o the Foreigner Ofce).

I the student needs to leave Spain while their frst Student ID Card is being processed (or when the card isbeing renewed) and they have already had their fngerprints taken, they may leave the country and apply or are-entry permit, which is used to re-enter into Spain and other European Union countries.

They comply with all the requirements for their entry into and residence in Spain, including the visa

that is specifcally granted or study or or continuing their studies at any ofcially recognized publicor private institution.

According to regulations, they have been admitted to any ofcially recognized Spanish public or private

educational or scientifc institution or the purpose o study or continuing their studies or or carryingout research or or unpaid training work, advising the corresponding work schedule that has a plannedduration o not less than three months, including the approved curriculum, research or training program.

They guarantee they have the economic means required to meet the costs of their studies as well as the

costs o their stay in Spain, the costs o returning to their country and, as applicable, the costs relatingto their amilies.

The student will benet from guaranteed health care that can be claimed by presenting the admissionsletter in which it states that the student has medical insurance with unlimited national coverage.

The validity o the study period authorization is limited to the duration o thestudies, research or training. I the duration is more than twelve months, thecard will be renewed on an annual basis.

In any event, to renew the study period authorization, a certifcate romthe institution where you are carrying out your studies must be submittedaccrediting compliance with the requirements to continue your studies or apositive report regarding the research undertaken.

Opening a Bank Accoun in SpainThe network o banks and branches in Spain is one o the most developed in the world, with one o the highestnumber o bank ofces per inhabitant.

To open an account in Spain, all you need to do is present your Student ID Card. Usually, students open a currentaccount that does not normally have operating charges, or i they do, they are very low and relate to a debitcard that allows you to make purchases and withdraw cash limited to the amount available in the account. Witha debit card you may withdraw cash rom all ATMs, however only the ATMs o the bank or caja de ahorros

[savings bank] where you have opened the account and those belonging to the same network are ree: the restusually charge a commission or cash withdrawal.

In addition, so that graduate students may confrm their enrollment more easily, Universidad Europea de Madridoers candidates a bank account opening system rom abroad via our partners Banco Santander. All you haveto do is fll out the orm required by Banco Santander and send it by e-mail, along with a copy o your Passportto the head o the branch located on the main Campus at Universidad Europea de Madrid:

Once the student arrives in Spain, it is essential that they go in person to the branch to sign the contract to openthe bank account. In addition, the student is required by law to obtain their Student Card or NIE and present itat the branch in order to maintain the validity o their bank account. Additionally, the account number obtainedmust be orwarded to the University Admissions Ofce as a requirement or enrollment.
