ADMISSION NOTICE FOR ADMISSION IN CLASS - XI IN

RAJKIYA PRATIBHA VIKAS VIDYALAYAS

FOR SESSION 2020-21.

Admission for students who have passed Class X in 2020 from Govt./Govt. Aided Schools of Dte. of Edn., GNCT of Delhi /NDMC/Delhi Cantt. Board Schools are open in Class XI in the following Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalayas of Directorate of Education against tentative vacant seats for the Academic Session 2020-21.

Any information/clarification in respect of vacant seats for admission in Class XI in three streams (Science, Commerce and Humanities) etc. may be obtained from the HOS of the concerned RPVVs on all working days (from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm).

The MIS link for online registration for admission in Class XI for Academic Session 2020-21 has been provided to Govt./Govt. Aided Schools of Dte. of Edn. GNCT of Delhi /NDMC/Delhi Cantt. Board Schools. In case the online link is not available with NDMC and Delhi Cantt. Board Schools, the students of the schools of NDMC and Delhi Cantt. Board may visit the concerned RPVV where the student is willing for admission, for offline registration.

The student will get himself/herself registered online for admission in Class XI in RPVVs by the Heads of School where the student is presently studying or from where the student has passed Class X in Session 2019-2020. At the time of registration, the student will have option of choosing the RPVV in order of preference in a particular cluster of RPVVs. After registration, the student or parent of the student will submit the hard copy of the registration form along with the requisite documents at the RPVV of the first preference in a particular Cluster of RPVV.

The admission in Class XI in RPVVs will be purely on the basis of Common Cluster-Wise merit of every stream (Science, Commerce and Humanities) as per the aggregate marks of 5 main subjects excluding additional subject/Sanskrit of Class X in the Academic Session 2019-20. The RPVVs have been grouped in the following Clusters for the purpose of preparation of Cluster-Wise merit. The students at the time of online registration may choose the RPVV of a particular cluster of RPVVs in order of preference.

STREAM WISE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR REGISTRATION OF STUDENTS FOR ADMISSION TO CLASS XI IN RPVVs FOR SESSION 2020-21.

• Students who have studied continuously for two years in Government/Government Aided Schools of Dte. of Edn. /NDMC/Delhi Cantonment Board Schools situated in Delhi and have passed Class IX in the Academic Session 2018-19 and Class- X in Academic Session 2019-20 may get themselves registered online by HOS where from the student has passed Class X for admission to Class-XI in Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalayas as per the eligibility criteria given below . At the time of registration, the student will have option to choose RPVV in a particular cluster of RPVVs.

• Registration may be made only in one RPVV of a particular cluster out of the 22 RPVVs if there are vacant seats available after admitting RPVVs own students in Class XI for Academic Session 2020-21.

• There will be cluster-wise merit of every stream (Science, Commerce and Humanities) for admission in Class XI of a particular cluster of RPVVs depending upon the vacant seats available for non-RPVV students.

A. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SCIENCE STREAM.

Minimum percentage of marks required for the students who have passed Class X for online registration for admission in RPVV in Class XI (Science stream) is as follows:

Maths : 71% Science : 71% English : 61% Social Science : 51% Hindi : 51 %

The selection of candidates for admission to Class XI in RPVVs will be on the basis of common cluster-wise merit of Science Stream as per aggregate marks of Class X in the above 5 subjects and as per preference of RPVV given by student in the registration form for admission.

B. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR COMMERCE STREAM

Minimum percentage of marks of Class X required for online registration for admission in RPVV in Class XI (Commerce Stream) is as follows:

Maths : 61% Social Science : 61% English : 51% Natural Science : 51% Hindi : 51 %

The selection of candidates for admission to Class XI in RPVVs will be on the basis of Common Cluster-Wise Merit of Commerce Stream as per aggregate marks in the above five subjects in Class X and as per preference of RPVV given by student in the registration form for admission.

C. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR HUMANITIES STREAM.

Minimum percentage of marks of Class X required for online registration for Humanities Stream is as follows:

Maths : 51% Social Science : 51% English : 51% Natural Science : 51% Hindi : 51 %

In addition to above eligibility criteria, Economics subject in Humanities Stream will be offered to the students who have secured at least 55% marks in aggregate in 5 subjects

(excluding additional subject) in Class X Exam. The selection of candidates for admission to

Class XI in RPVVs in Humanities Stream will be on the basis of Common Cluster-Wise Merit and as per preference of RPVV given by student in the registration form for admission.

In case of tie for the last vacant seats, i.e. same marks are obtained in Class X by a number of students for any of the three streams (Science, Commerce and Humanities), then there will be draw of lot and the successful student in the draw will be offered the seats in the stream in which student has registered himself/herself for admission in Class XI.

28.08.2020 (Friday) to 09.09.2020 (Wednesday) on all working days from 09:00 am to 01:00 pm. The Hard copy of registration form may be submitted to HOS of RPVV where the student has given his/her first choice for admission

2. Date & time of display of the list of Cluster-wise selected students on the basis of merit

14.09.2020 (Monday) at 2:00 pm

3. Date & time of counseling for admission 16.09.2020 (Wednesday) and 17.09.2020 (Thursday) from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm.

4. Admission process of selected students (Submission of requisite documents).

19.09.2020 (Saturday) to 25.09.2020 (Friday) from 09:00 AM to 01:00 pm. Details will be provided by the Head of respective RPVVs.

In case the 'last date' in the above Admission Schedule is declared as a public holiday, then the next working date will be treated as the 'last date'.

DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION

General instructions

1. Registration for admission does not entitle a candidate to secure his/her seat in RPVV.

The admission in RPVVs is purely on the basis of merit of the result of Class X.

2. The information about the vacant seats in Class XI can be obtained from respective

RPVVs.

3. Online Registration shall be made only in one RPVV in order of preference of RPVVs in

a Cluster of RPVV where the applicant intends to seek admission. No request for change

of school from one RPVV to another RPVV shall be entertained at any stage.

4. The applicants are also advised to check their eligibility for online registration before

submitting the Registration Form.

5. Duly filled/completed Registration Form should he submitted by the candidate in the

RPVV of his/her choice for admission.

6. Submission of Registration Form with necessary documents from 28.08.2020 to

09.09.2020.

7. Display of the list of Cluster-wise selected students on the basis of merit on

14.09.2020 at 02:00 pm in the respective RPVVs.

8. Complete details in respect of Eligibility criteria/complete schedule in respect of

Admission process and Registration form are available at PUBLIC DOMAIN of the

official website of Directorate of Education i.e. www.edudel.nic.in
