ADMISSION NOTIFICATION-CLASS-XI

REGISTRATIONS FOR SESSION 2020-21 17th July 2020

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into Class XI Science and Commerce streams for the academic year 2020-21 for preparing students to appear for AISSCE examination (i.e. a 2 year course at +2 level) in CBSE pattern.

Students who have completed class X or who have improved their performance in the academic year 2019-20 are eligible to apply.

1.Streams and eligibility Criteria

Stream Electives For applicants from KVs

Science 1. Maths, Physics, Chemistry with Computer Science,

2. Biology, Physics, Chemistry with IP/Hindi/ Sanskrit/ Maths

Min of 60% aggregate

Commerce 1. Commerce with Maths, 2. Commerce with IP/ Hindi/ Sanskrit

Min of 55% aggregate

*Note: The score in the additional subject will not be counted ** Note: Physical education is offered as an optional subject, English is a compulsory core subject for all.

Special provisions. For applicants from SC/ST/OBC/Divyang (PH) applicants, would be given an upgradation in aggregate by 4% marks for the purpose of admission to class XI.

Applicants from other KVs are considered on par, if the stream opted is not available in the KV, where the students completed X class.

Students having credentials in NCC/Scouts & Guides / Sports & Games , Adventure activities are given concession in minimum eligibility criteria as per KVS admission guidelines (2020-21)

Two seats per class will be allotted over and above for SGC (only girl child without other sibling) as per KVS admission guidelines.

2. No of seats: 40 in Science and 40 in commerce stream 3. Method of selection: A merit list will be prepared based on the class X marks obtained by the applicant considering the other credentials at upto X class level separately for KV and neighboring KVs.

Registration of non-KV aspirants shall be made, if there is a vacancy after accommodating the applicants from Kendriya Vidyalaya(s). Merit list based on parent’s service category, performance in class X and other credentials is prepared for filling the number of vacancies.

4.How to apply? (As per the COVID-19 SOP) : Interested and eligible students of KV No1, Uppal and neighboring Kendriya Vidyalayas have to register

afresh for admission into Class XI by filing carefully the Google Registration form link available on the school website.

submitting google form, a reply mail containing your application will be sent to the registered mail id. Download the application. Take a print out of the application and sign. Affix latest photograph on the front

page. Duly signed application along with a set of self attested (Xerox) photo copies shall be scanned and mailed as a

2. Caste certificate (for claim of SC/ST/OBC-NCL) 3. PH certificate for Physically Challenged 4. Certificate with the highest level (not less than a District level) achievement in the field of Sports/NCC/Scouts&Guides/Adventure activities as mentioned in the registration form. 5. An affidavit duly notarized and signed by the deponents for SGC claim, duly sworn before a First Class Megistrate 6. Service certificate of the parent if employed in Govt/Govt PSU/autonomous units from a competent authority with a statement of inter station transfers starting from 31st March 2013 (not for applicants from KV-1,Uppal) 7. Residence proof(not for applicants from KV-1,Uppal) 8. Aadhar Card of the child (not for applicants from KV-1,Uppal) 9. Transfer certificate from previous school for applicants from other KVs and other schools (not for applicants from KV-1,Uppal) 10. Last fee paid receipt for students from KV N0.1, Uppal

Method2: In case of any difficulty in registering using google form link, following COVID SOP ,Take print out

of the application enclosed at the end of the notification , fill in the particulars ,scan the same along with all the

*As per the COVID SOP norms, we discourage your physical visit to the vidyalaya. Only for those those who have a genuine difficulty there is a drop-box for dropping the filled in applications duly wrapped in a transparent plastic cover at the entrance . A record of such applications will be maintained. Needy parents may make use of it under unavoidable circumastance. 5. 6. Important instructions for candidates for admission : Procedure for admission: The entire process will be through a registered Mobile and e –mail.

i) The parents/Guardian shall be sent with a mail about the offer of admission. Based on the consent, by a return mail, the fee challan will be generated. On successful payment of fees, the admission is completed.

ii) In case of admissions from Other KVs , a detailed procedure will be informed through mail iii) Payment of fees for the first quarter on completing the UBI online portal data updation.

(VVN Rs 1500/-+Tuition fee Rs 1200/-+Computer fee Rs 450/- or Rs 300/- and admission fee for new admissions Rs 25/- for any stream Rs 3175/- per quarter as per the KVS norms). iv) Mere registration does not guarantee admission. v) Non-registration and no-response for mail/mobile is considered as withdrawal of candidature. No further

correspondence will be entertained. vi) Admisssions are time bound and the candidates /parents should respond in time to avoid dissappointment

7. In case of any vacancies, after this process for students of Kendriya Vidyalayas, for others, the status will be notified on 4th August 2020.
