churches, and communities by:

Understanding the theory behind Adaptive

Leadership

Diagnosing the System by identifying the

challenges that need change

Mobilizing the resources within the system to

bring about change

Build a holding environment to support and

pace the rate of change

Six phases

and corresponding semesters are: 1. Advanced Preparation for Ministry

2. Problem Analysis in the Practice of Ministry

3. Foundations for the Practice of Ministry

4. Research Methods for Ministry

5. Field Research, Data Collection & Analysis

6. Research Writing and Final Preparations

6 - 12 Member Cohorts

A small group of participants (normally 6 – 12)

are led by a moderator to explore the probable

success of a particular model of ministry

Four Focus Group Electives Degree program uses the research techniques of

Focus Group Research

1. Servant Leadership

2. Charismatic Leadership

3. Visionary Leadership

4. Adaptive Leadership

5. Situational Leadership

6. Transformational Leadership

The DMIN degree is a three-year (six-semester)

program.

There are six consecutive semesters. Each semes-

ter begins with a one-week DMin intensive fol-

lowed by Peer Focus Group webinar sessions.
