Dressed all in black and grey door opens revealing the sound collector Put every sound into a bag SC drops bag down and retrieves a device from inside And carried them away ‘’ 2____ The whistling of the kettle Still shot of kettle on stove (check accuracy with 1950s) (kettle whistling is heard), device enters/is already on side of shot, kettle has an ‘aura’ of colour around it, the rest is of the kitchen is grey. Device switches on and drains the kettle of its colour and the whistling quietens until it is grey and silent. The turning of the lock still shot of front door lock (locking sound is heard) ‘same as above’ The purring of the kitten still shot of sleeping cat (purring sound is heard) ‘same as above’ The ticking of the clock still shot of mantelpiece clock (ticking sound is heard) ‘same as above’ 3____ The popping of the toaster still shot of toaster on kitchen workspace (toaster popping sound is heard) ‘same as above’ The crunching of the flakes still shot of a bowl of ‘flakes’ on kitchen table (crunching sound is heard) ‘same as above’ When you spread the marmalade still shot of half eaten toast with marmalade on kitchen table The scraping noise it makes (knife on toast scraping sound is heard) ‘same as above’ 4____ The hissing of the frying pan still shot of frying pan on stove (hissing sound is heard) ‘same as above’
