PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCEOffice Management
Implemented several tracking systems to ensure complete accountability of all administrative functions. This included: Awards, finance inquiries, promotions, evaluations, compensation and benefits packages, and a list of all assigned personnel.
Ensured that at the beginning of each year that all compensation and benefits packages were up to date for each individual soldier. Ensured that 800 soldier benefits packages were current and 100% accurate before 3 combat deployments.
Created a good working relationship between the Human Resource Center and other office entities that resulted in an easier processing of all administrative areas.
Tracked the training requirements of all assigned recruits during Basic Combat Training while assigned to Fort Jackson, South Carolina as the Training Operations Sergeant.
Created a spreadsheet that listed all training requirements that a Soldier must complete in order to complete Basic Combat Training. This resulted in an easier processing and integration of new Soldiers into the United States Army.
Human Resource Management Expertly accounted for 100% of all assigned personnel as the Enlisted Strength Manager. During combat deployments I ensured that all proper death benefits upon a soldier
being killed in action were handled properly and in a timely fashion as to not put any unneeded stress on the family.
Responsible for the annual processing of all Soldier benefits. Includes life insurance, death benefits, and ensuring all personal data was current. Had 100% success and completion rate.
Served as the Senior Human Resource Manager during a combat deployment to Afghanistan. During this time I was directly responsible for maintaining accountability of all assigned personnel, casualty reporting, pre-deployment and post-deployment
operations, mail-room operations, and all other administrative functions that the Human Resource Center was responsible for.
Coordinated the travel of over 800 soldiers to Afghanistan and also coordinated the travel from Afghanistan back to the United States without error and without delay.
Coordinated the travel of over 2000 soldiers in training to their job specific training upon completion of Basic Combat Training. Did so without error and without delay.
Ensured that the United States Army HRIS eMILPO was accurate for all assigned personnel to our respective unit.
Interpreted Army Regulations, Standard Operating Procedures, and re-evaluated standing policy letters and re-wrote if necessary to what the command wanted to achieve.
Leadership and Training Completed the United States Army Warrior Leadership Course and the United States
Army Advanced Leadership Course. Received the 82nd Airborne Division Human Resource Center Excellence Award for 3
consecutive months. Never let my subordinates take responsibility for any wrongs that happened within the
Human Resource Center; took full responsibility at all times and ensured those mistakes were never made again.
Trained 3 soldiers that were not trained in Human Resource functions to effectively manage administrative issues.
Trained an Afghan National Police Administrative office on how to properly run a Human Resource Center.
While in Afghanistan I was recommended for a battlefield promotion from pay grade E5 to pay grade E6.
