28 I think the trails, diamonds, and landscaping are great for the space! It would be nice to haveplayground equipment for younger children (5 and under)

7/29/2019 9:22 AM

29 The layout of the diamonds is dangerous when foul balls are hit. This year I saw a girl get hit in thehead by a foul ball while sitting in the stands. Safety needs to be #1! Pickleball is certainlybecoming popular, but I would rather see Greenville host casual community events like music inthe park. Parking is less than ideal. This undoubtedly needs to be redesigned (the original lots). How often are the pavillions used when Jennerjohn and Lions Park both have nicer facilities. It ismy understanding that Pebble Ridge Park has plans for a pavillion as well.

31 Do NOT rename the park. 7/27/2019 7:52 AM

32 I have heard that some visiting baseball teams have said they will never sign up for anotherGreenville tournament because of the condition of our fields, particularly when it rains. If you lookinto it, you’ll probably notice that fewer and fewer visiting teams have been participating in ourhome tourney over the years. Not a good look for Greenville and lost revenue opportunity.

7/27/2019 6:52 AM

33 Splash pad where tennis courts are. Improved ice rink with warming shelter. 7/27/2019 12:20 AM

34 Splash pad 7/26/2019 10:47 PM

35 We need more diamonds 7/26/2019 10:46 PM

36 Creating an outdoor pool would create a gathering place for residents in the summer. If youcreated a 50 meter pool revenue could be gained from local swim teams to rent for outdoor swimpractice. Teams were renting Erb Pool from Green Bay and Door County due to the lack of 50meter pools available in the central and northern part of the state.

7/26/2019 5:31 PM

37 More handicap parking ASAP! Only 4 spots. They are always full at baseball games. If you go to alater game only option is to park way down by the zoo.

7/26/2019 3:58 PM

38 Community Pool. And parks and rec options for kids. Other communities seem to have much moreto offer.

7/26/2019 3:50 PM

39 More parking! 7/26/2019 12:24 PM

40 The town puts so much into baseball. The diamonds are fine. Start getting work done on Field ofDreams!

7/26/2019 11:49 AM

41 Connect the trails to other part of Greenville. 7/26/2019 11:10 AM

42 Need more handicapped parking spots. 7/26/2019 10:57 AM

43 Pool or splash pad is definitely a necessity so Greenville residents don’t have to drive toneighboring towns to use their facilities. Greenville is growing fast and it needs to keep up with theresident’s needs. Trail expansion to subdivisions north of Greenville so we have easier access toparks in town without having to drive. Kids want to ride bike into town, but 76 is too dangerous withspeed limit being 45

7/26/2019 10:35 AM

44 Build neighborhood parks (I.e. basketball courts or tennis courts) something simple and notcomplex

The park is fine the way it is. Just maintain the current facilities.

The park is dated but current facilities meet the community’s needs. Replace or renovate existing facilities as needed.

The park doesn’t meet the community’s needs as well as it could. New or additional facilities/programs should beconsidered.

1 Safety should be improved in crossing 15 as well as the parking lot when it is busy 8/4/2019 7:58 PM

2 I hope the athletic events can expand. More shady areas would be nice. 8/4/2019 3:46 PM

3 Be reasonable in considering cost and expense to the residents. The town of Greenville does nothave a good reputation of spending tax payer dollars.

8/4/2019 9:05 AM

4 It would be nice to have a small water park for hot days . Please see the baseball fields I'atcitizens park in Manitowoc. Thank you

8/4/2019 8:41 AM

5 The park is so heavily used by GYS that it prohibits realistic use by anyone else. If they desireimprovements to the facilities there they should be responsible for acquiring the necessaryfunding.

8/4/2019 6:44 AM

6 With the great baseball we have in this community, we have sub par baseball facilities.Embarrassing when we see what other communities have.

8/4/2019 6:08 AM

7 N/a 8/3/2019 10:26 PM

8 Additional playground amenities are definitely needed. It gets extremely crowded during any nightwhen ball games are played. It's not even an option for littler kids to use it when older kids take itover. Other parks have two areas - one for under 5 and one for over 5. The covered canopy isgreat to have as a feature since it keeps the equipment cooler.

8/3/2019 9:32 PM

9 Update bathrooms and pavilions 8/3/2019 9:20 PM

10 Is it possible to have another baseball field? 8/3/2019 8:48 PM

11 We would love to see more community activities and less sports. Sports hits small population, yetit’s such a big focus of this community. Such a surprise and disappointment when I moved herefrom Oshkosh four years ago.

8/3/2019 7:58 PM

12 A splash pad Lacrosse field 4 square A world painted on the concrete 8/3/2019 6:43 PM

13 Recommend incorporating soccer fields into this park. Please do not rename the park, I know thathas been floated by some community organizations. This should always be community park.

8/3/2019 6:40 PM

14 Redoing the restoom facilities should be top priority! They are oudated and not clean. Better sinkswith warm water, better blow dry systems, etc.

8/3/2019 5:02 PM

16 Improve parking 8/3/2019 4:23 PM

17 Would like splash pad for little kids 8/3/2019 3:17 PM

18 I feel we need to look for a larger are to develop a park sports complex and look to selling currentproperty for commercial expansion in our community.

8/3/2019 2:21 PM

19 Add a splash pad - there are so many young children that would love it. We go to Sherwoodannually to use theirs but would love one close to home so we can go more!

8/3/2019 2:10 PM

20 A swimming pool would be an amazing addition. Our daughter is on a swim team and we have totravel to do swimming. A pool could bring in a lot of revenue to the town.

8/3/2019 1:48 PM

21 The ball diamonds need most improvement, I think elevation of the ball fields need to be raised toprovide some fall for drainage since right now they are the same height as the swamp behind themthe water has no where to go.

8/3/2019 1:46 PM

22 The ball diamonds are the most important but some open space would be good. A permanentplace for the skate park would be good.

8/3/2019 1:34 PM

23 Baseball fields need alot of work. They flood easily and need to drain better. Basketball courtswould be a great addition too.

8/3/2019 1:31 PM

28 Would like to see the money spent on a park that is not so busy and can be enjoyed by all familiesnot just baseball people. Too Busy in summer due to baseball. Would be interested inimprovements to other parks that are not so crowded. Or a pool

8/3/2019 12:06 PM

29 Develop a dog park on part of the property. 8/3/2019 11:20 AM

30 Need better drainage for ball diamonds. 8/3/2019 10:44 AM

31 Continue with a variety of things so it appeals to many. 8/3/2019 10:38 AM

32 There are no nice outdoor basketball courts anywhere in Greenville. Existing ones are severelyoutdated and a bit of a joke. Would be nice to support this sport as well and provide courts to allowfor continued skill development.

8/3/2019 10:36 AM

33 Walking/biking Bridge over or under 15 from Community Park to The Twist area. Right now youhave to walk all the way around through Jennerjohn or go across the busy highway. We would useCommunity park more if this safe bridge existed.

8/3/2019 10:36 AM

34 The community is growing with families. A great playground would be great appreciated. Splashpad, kids zip line, rubber flooring since it gets very muddy at the parks.

8/3/2019 10:28 AM

35 That tennis court location is too valuable to use for a niche activity (pickle-ball). 8/3/2019 10:25 AM

36 There are so many you g children in our community that the parks at time feel crowded. Largerand more play structures are needed at almost every park. It would be wonderful to have a splashpad, pool or lake in our community. Safety and bikeability/walkability are always an issue. It wouldbe nice for the depth and breadth of rec programming to expand. The Y focus/schedules etc do notalways meet my families needs As a last point- the aggregate material used underneath climbersetc is not always safe, clean, deep enough etc.

8/3/2019 10:12 AM

37 Cricket Field/ Home Run Pond 8/1/2019 11:44 AM

38 Get a community pool!! 7/31/2019 4:47 PM

39 More tennis courts!! We wanted to play the other day but the ones at Jennerjohn are occupied allsummer by youth sports and there’s only 1 court at this park and it was also in use. Superfrustrating to be a town member and not be able to use facilities that my taxes pay for

7/31/2019 12:30 PM

40 Small swimming pond. Look at Weyawega. Or private campgrounds that have them 7/30/2019 4:49 PM

41 Would we consider a splash pad and/or community pool in the future 7/30/2019 11:14 AM

42 Some type of drainage system for the baseball fields. Even a little rain means delays orcancellations of games, which can be a huge inconvenience for those visiting our park fortournaments. The playground should also be expanded to accommodate large numbers of kidsduring games and events, it gets crowded fast. I also think the addition of a splash pad wouldbenefit the community, as there is not one within 30 mins.

7/30/2019 9:58 AM

43 Simply better maintain the facility, update some items annually. Put the $ in where it gets used themost; trails and baseball diamonds and concession area (this could be a money maker).

7/30/2019 6:35 AM

44 What ever happened to the new sports complex plan and actually acting/ creating what has beenplanned? Have the civics club ever thought about partnering with other clubs other than Greenvilleyouth sports?

7/30/2019 12:24 AM

45 Like I stated before, the splash pad and/or public pool would make everlasting impacts on thecommunity.

7/29/2019 10:10 PM

46 A pool would be awesome for Greenville 7/29/2019 9:38 PM

47 Community park is fine. What about other parks in Grrenville, especially Sports Complex. 7/29/2019 8:51 PM

48 Walking through the park during baseball tournaments is dangerous. It would be nice if a trailcould be created that allows you to move through the park without having to walk through theparking areas.

7/29/2019 8:48 PM

49 It's over crowded on baseball nights. The isn't enough space for kids to practice. Very limitedparking. More community events would be great!

7/29/2019 7:52 PM

50 Splash pad/community pool, make more running trails, update playground equipment 7/29/2019 5:06 PM

51 Coordinating with trainers or gyms to offer community fitness classes at the park would be greatfor the community.

7/29/2019 5:01 PM

52 Prepare a plan like was done for the Sports Complex on 96. 7/29/2019 4:38 PM

53 I may sound like a grumpy old man, but i'm not that old. My kids aren't even old enough to play ballyet, but it seems we've gone from a generation of kids that would make an empty alley work for abaseball game, to a growing number of parents and kids who don't love the game enough to playon anything not fit for a major league'r. We should be mindful of what we're creating with our youthsports.

54 Pool or lake! 7/29/2019 4:10 PM

55 parking is always an issue. 7/29/2019 12:28 PM

56 It is beautifully maintained. A source of pride. Kudos to the community for the support and activeinvolvement.

7/29/2019 10:52 AM

57 Parking areas need to be improved and safer for children walking and bicycling. 7/29/2019 10:24 AM

58 Community Park is a really great feature to have in Greenville! Thanks for asking for feedback andfor looking into this!

7/29/2019 9:22 AM

59 To my knowledge, the park is not considered a "go-to" place for a day trip or quick stop for a shorttime with family. Anytime there is an event at this park people seem to come to it.

7/29/2019 6:45 AM

60 The ball fields need to be better drained. 7/29/2019 6:31 AM

61 We just moved to the area with our 3 small children. We were hoping there would be more diversesport interest/offerings besides just baseball. We have not yet gotten involved in town meetings, etc but our overall feeling is that everyone that attends must be baseball parents? It seemssupport for other sports is overlooked. We are looking for soccer programs for our children.

7/29/2019 6:16 AM

62 Better cross walk is needed from Hyacinth across hwy 15. With the heavy traffic, I’ve seen severalkids go from the park to subway or the twist and nearly get hit. This is a major safety issue. Thankyou!!

7/29/2019 6:14 AM

63 Greenville is growing and the Community Park should reflect this. Many young families are movingto the area and will use Community Park.

7/28/2019 9:06 PM

64 If you could bring in fill to the marshes west of Diamond D, you could put in practice facilities andother warm up areas so that teams would not always have to be going to the Middle School.

7/28/2019 9:02 PM

65 Updated baseball diamonds, more parking space, pickelball added, update trails 7/28/2019 3:54 PM

66 See previous comments. 7/28/2019 9:43 AM

67 Need more bball diamonds and expand in new area and repurpose existing park for practice orother items.

7/27/2019 11:25 PM

68 I don’t know that it is the right location to be invested by the money. It’s swamp land. Needs to be apriority no and the park needs to be moved to a different location.

7/27/2019 10:49 PM

69 Splash pad, community pool, water activities 7/27/2019 12:39 PM

70 Better parking options (safer drop off area?), update pavilion to something that allows more lightand color, bathrooms more family- friendly

7/27/2019 9:44 AM

71 Maintain current buildings and playground equipment as needed but allocate money to other parks(and sports) that Greenville residents enjoy. Greenville Sports Complex is a disgrace to thecommunity. Parking is horrendous with only port-a-potties for visitors, not to mention lack of anybuilding for inclement weather. The community park is a wonderful meeting place for families whilethe Sports Complex isn’t even on the map. Spend monies elsewhere.

7/27/2019 8:54 AM

72 Do NOT consider renaming the park. This is COMMUNITY Park - it is not and should not beconsider a park own, maintained, or operated by an entity in the community. (Aka: this is not likeLions Park)

7/27/2019 7:52 AM

73 The entrance is dangerous and confusing. It's hard to get in to and easy to miss since it's at thegas station. I'd like to see the entrance moved down so there is a longer turn lane with signage.

7/27/2019 7:38 AM

74 Start with updating the baseball fields with all turf and correct any drainage problems. Anytimetheir is rain it affects tournaments with delays and cancellations. Be the 1st in the area to put in turffields , can charge more from teams and most tournaments will be able to be completed on time.Teams will want to come and GYS will not struggle to get teams. More league kids will want toplay generating more money. Other facilities in southern Wi estimated about 300K / field if you domore than 1 at a time. Start with 2. Separate diamond A and B and make 3 small diamonds. Movebig ball diamond up to new park. Keep 14 and lower at the community park. GYS is at almost 800kids something needs to happen with improvements.

7/27/2019 7:05 AM

75 Upgraded playground Water feature/splash pad 7/27/2019 6:32 AM

76 I bothers me that you are focusing on a park that is in great condition. Please take a look at theGreenville sports complex off of 96. Every time I go there for soccer it is full of mud. Please do notjust focus on one segment of the community. The soccer fields, parking lots are in horriblecondition for rapidly growing sport that provides so many benefits to our families.

77 With the growing needs of the community having expanded/additional features added to the parkwould be a huge bonus!

7/26/2019 10:57 PM

78 Fields need improvements in drainage and infield. Consider tarps & dugout improvements. 7/26/2019 10:53 PM

79 Better drainage or prevention of water issues on the fields! GYS has to cancel after 15 min of rain,or postpone tournaments, etc. Tarps, please!!!!! Finally build the Field of Dreams!! It's time!! Put inone more ball diamond at Jennerjohn and maintain it. Where does all the GYS registration $ &calendar $ go?????

7/26/2019 10:36 PM

80 Baseball and softball are a very important and passionate hobby for the Greenville community. With all of the leagues and tournament teams, more diamonds/practice space is needed.

7/26/2019 9:55 PM

81 The baseball diamonds need massive improvements. Baseball is a big deal in this town. Manypeople use the diamonds daily. The diamonds need tarps or some type of drainage away fromhome plate. Fixing the fences to stop balls from leaving the field would help. Allowing games to beplayed brings business to the area but many are cancelled as the fields cannot accommodate anyrainfall

7/26/2019 9:00 PM

82 There needs to be a better severe weather warning system for GYS to clear the fields beforesevere weather hits.

7/26/2019 8:10 PM

83 Parking is a struggle during baseball/softball nights and weekends. We could use more diamondsfor games to be played on. Along with a bigger or another playground. The existing one is usuallyover run with kids.

7/26/2019 6:52 PM

84 We need a pool or splash pad for kids in the area- better bike trail access would be helpp 7/26/2019 6:11 PM

85 Baseball/softball draw 95% of the users to this park - I think the highest priority is VERY clear -improve the fields and amenities that baseball/softball uses!

7/26/2019 5:59 PM

86 Look into partnering with the Y. Consider creating an indoor pool area that can be used for both 25yard and 50 meter pools. There is a big need for this in the swimming community due to agingpools. Families would come for swim meets on the weekend and bring revenue. It is needed onthe northern/central WI region. Whichever city builds it first, will benefit from the tourism thatcomes along with this.

7/26/2019 5:31 PM

87 N/a 7/26/2019 5:20 PM

88 Community Park has been a cornerstone for Greenville/Hortonville’s phenomenal baseball/softballprograms. Unfortunately the current park can’t quite accommodate all the current needs forbaseball/softball alone, especially given the drainage issues. Either we repurpose what we have orwe expand in the potential development off of hwy 96 to meet the needs.

7/26/2019 4:41 PM

89 The baseball diamonds need to be fixed for better drainage so they can be used more. Tarpsshould also be purchased.

7/26/2019 4:22 PM

90 The baseball fields are in need of MAJOR help. Greenville has a very good baseball/softballprograms for could be a desired destination for tournaments far more than it may already be. Shortperiods of rain have a huge impact on field quality and require the work of so many volunteersduring tournaments and risk completion of games. The pavilion seems well under utilized.Upgrades with the addition of various events could create a nice draw to the park.

7/26/2019 4:13 PM

91 More handicap parking spots. 7/26/2019 3:58 PM

92 I feel like it’s a high traffic area and gets lots of use. It looks run down and could use a face liftespecially as it’s an area that symbolizes a reflection of our growing community.

7/26/2019 3:12 PM

93 Field A is not made for the small kids playing in it. Why not develop fields on 96 field of dreams? 7/26/2019 12:42 PM

94 A changed parking area or additional parking is important. I am shocked that I have not heard ofkids being hit by cars, especially when parked close to mini mart. More sidewalks leading fromparking lot as kids are small and run around. Safety, safety, safety.

7/26/2019 12:24 PM

95 The current park is fine. Greenville needs to get moving on Field of Dreams. 7/26/2019 11:49 AM

96 Safer pedestrian access across Hwy 15. More parking and a better vehicle entrance/exit 7/26/2019 11:06 AM

97 Our park is so dated in such a growing community. Take notice of area ballparks like Hortonvilleand model after that

7/26/2019 10:50 AM

98 I thought new fields were being developed in the new park along 96? I would hate to see thatproject get delayed because of this.

7/26/2019 10:47 AM

99 It seems that since we moved here 5 years ago, the main focus of the town is baseball. I thinkmore effort needs to be put into more family oriented activities and things for younger kids toparticipate in. Parks are great, but they get old. Please consider a splash pad or a community pool.

100 Bathroom updates, there is the pavilion yet food at games is served out of the little hut, theplayground is so small and those woodchips are awful, the seating isnt shaded, the grass isnt wellmaintained and it uneven making it hard for elderly/people with device assistance. Overall its anice park, but it needs to be updated to keep up or soon people will take these activitieselsewhere.

7/26/2019 10:33 AM

101 Only 1 new pavilion is needed. Fields need to be fixed to avoid flooding in the outfield when itrains.

7/26/2019 10:29 AM
