Acts 2:41-47

1 John 1:3-7“3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you

also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4 We write this to make our joy complete.

5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.”

with those who mourn.”

GOD IS GLORIFIED Ephesians 4:3-6 “3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit

through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit —just as you were called to one hope when you were called — 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; ; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”

THE CHURCH IS BUILT UP Ephesians 4:11-13 “11 It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be

prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12 to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

WE ARE FILLED WITH JOY Philippians 2:2 “Then make my joy complete by being

like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.”

WE WITNESS TO THE WORLD John 13:35 “By this all men will know that you are

my disciples, if you love one another.”
