The motto of Kodaikanal Christian College is “Born to Lead.” Learning to be a leader is at the heart of everything we do at KCC. We truly believe that every one of our students has a God-given purpose for his or her life. Learning to be an effective leader plays a crucial role in fulfilling that purpose.

This core message – that every student is called to be a leader – is reinforced every day through a multitude of activities. From our College Anthem and inspirational talks given by faculty and students at Morning Assembly to classroom activities that encourage independent, creative thinking, KCC actively seeks to foster an environment that emphasizes leadership development. Housekeeping Services: Each hostel has its own designated housekeeping staff. The housekeeping staff will clean your rooms every day at designated time.

Laundry rooms:

The hostel provide automatic washing machine and dryer operated by an attendant. Students can avail this facility on payment.

Security:

Each hostel is covered by trained security staff 24/7. There are also hotline number that can be contacted in times of emergency.

Residential Suites:

All the residential halls contain bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Well ventilated and spacious, each room comes with adequate lighting facilities.

The residential suites are well furnished to fit the needs of students. Each suite comes with a cot, bed, cupboard for storage, tables and chairs.

Super Deluxe Rooms: 2 students in one room with attached bathroom. Hostel will provide a cot, a mattress, one set of bed sheet and a pillow cover, a study table, a chair and a water cooler and TV room.

Deluxe Rooms: 4–6 students in one room with bunk beds, study table and cupboards.

Standard Rooms: 10 students sharing the rooms with bunkbeds and study areas and cupboards

As the college has local and international students, the menu is placed as a mix of both Indian, Chinese and continental. Emphasis is laid on hygiene, quality and the cleanliness of the food prepared in the hostel’s own kitchen by skilled cooks.

The dining package includes breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner.

Sports play a pivotal role in shaping one’s personality and maintaining good health. In Kodaikanal College, we have 13 acres of specially developed sports environment that matches global standards and gives a truly global experience to all our students. All of which is provided to them on the campus.

Every student is encouraged to take active part in at least one outdoor activity, so that they are engaged and physically fit. KCC frequently takes part and organizes inter-college sports tournaments to develop a spirit of healthy competition.

SportsFacilities

Sport day at KCC is akin to Sports festival held on Mount Adonai every year. Every year, intramural competitions such as Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Badminton, Cricket, Foot Ball, Throw Ball, Table Tennis, Chess, Racquetball and Carom competitions are conducted before the Sports Day for both male and female students and also for faculty members. Students are divided into Houses and the Department hosts inter-house competitions to enhance competitiveness among students.
