Accomplishment April 6th Grade Accomplishment - To achieve one’s goals; finish wholly; to complete. Purpose: This lesson helps students celebrate the accomplishments of others and realize what they are capable of accomplishing themselves. Materials: Bingo Cards, Accomplishments of Famous people Introduction : 1. Before the lesson begins, the teacher should cut out all of the accomplishments, fold them up and put them I a basket, can, container. 2. The teacher will introduce the word accomplishment and give the definition 3. The teacher will ask the students if they can name famous accomplishments EX: the first man to walk on the moon….the first women to fly across the Atlantic, etc. 4. The teacher will divide the class into groups of three or four students and hand our BINGO cards to each group 5. The teacher will explain the game…They will draw out an accomplishment of a famous person and when the students find this accomplishment on a card, then sold place an “X” over this spot. The first group to get a row of X’s wins. 6. The teacher will continue to read out the accomplishments until the first team gets a line of X’s in any direction. They should yell out the word ACCOMPLISHMENT when they have won the game. Conclusion: 1. The teacher will ask the students to think about what they want to accomplish within the next 10 years.

Accomplishment - To achieve one’s goals; finish wholly; to complete.

Purpose: This lesson helps students celebrate the accomplishments of others and realize what they are capable of accomplishing themselves.

Materials: Bingo Cards, Accomplishments of Famous people
