The Access Group of Companies is recognized as one of the most progressive business enterprises in Sri Lanka. Its growth has been synonymous with its well known dynamism. Access Telecom Technologies (Pvt) Ltd, (ATT) which commenced operations as a division of the Access Group in 1986, was formally registered as a subsidiary company in 2006.

ATT focuses on the introduction of key technologies and integration of specialized solutions to Telecommunication Operators. ATT has achieved these objectives through partnerships with key principals whose solutions have proved to be effective components in deployment of networks and through the development of m-commerce centric value added service platforms which have been customized to fit local conditions.

Over a period spanning more than a decade, ATT has proved to be a reliable partner, both to the Operators and Principals. Operators have benefited from our deep-rooted interaction, support and the integration services provided. Principals have benefited from our dedicated efforts in promoting their products to target market segments.

While the Telecommunication Industry is abundant with technologies and solutions provided by a wide range of principals, deploying a solution which would optimize both the solution’s capability, and the customer’s expectations, requires the able support of an integrator. ATT fulfills this requirement through its broadbased association with industry principals and our technical expertise gained through years of dedicated service.

ATT has been a key proponent in an industry which saw its opportunities multiply with the introduction of enabling technologies. As markets continue to grow and mature ATT has realized on its vision to deliver “true value” and is geared to achieve greater heights.

As the founder and Chairman of the Access Group, I have been privileged to observe the Telecom Division grow from Infancy to multiple subsidiary companies, which serve the telecommunication industry with great focus and dedication. Access Telecom Technologies (ATT), from its inception, has taken the lead in introducing technology to the Telecom Market in Sri Lanka.

Our uncompromising belief in delivering value that benefits both our customers and our partners has brought many an endeavor to successful conclusion. We are humbled by our achievements that have helped us sustain partnerships and have at most instances brought pride and a sense of elation with every milestone achieved.

• Supply of solutions through our partnering Principals. These solutions are either best of breed products or specialized solutions which benefits specific customer requirements.

• The provision of services/solutions such as m-commerce and other VAS solutions through various commercial models such as revenue share and pay-as-you-grow.

• We bring largely dissimilar products together through integration to provide specialized solutions for the operators. An example of

which is the hybrid power solution, which encompasses backup generators, smart rectifiers and specialized batteries.

• Development of Value Added Service Platforms. An example of such development is the m-pos solution which has been developed

by us. This application enables the integration of many standard devices to the mainstream of commerce through our transaction

processing software.

propositions. While it is a common phenomena in the industry to indentify oneself as a solution provider for all requirements, ATT believes

Te lecommun ica t i ons Sec to r – operates several subsidiary companies which offer a comprehensive range of solutions and services to Telecom operators. In addition, the group also has acquired an External Gateway Operator (EGO) licence in Sri Lanka and offers international connectivity services.

Cons t ruc t i on Eng ineer ing Sec to r – is addressed by Access Engineering Ltd, which is today recognized as the premier civil engineering company in Sri Lanka. The large portfolio of projects carried out by Access Engineering is witness to its position and success.

Power and Energy Sec to r – is addressed through three divisions. The Electrical Engineering Division offers comprehensive range of lighting systems ranging from industrial to infrastructure applications. The Power & Energy Division is engaged in high / medium voltage and low voltage distribution projects through supply and installation of transmission systems substations and switching systems along with provision of alternate / renewable energy solutions. The Energy Management Division provides total energy management solutions to large / medium scale energy consumers.

The Access Group of Companies addresses business opportunities through a structure of divisions and independently operating subsidiary companies. The group emphasizes on the concept of a family and as with a harmoniously operating family, we bring to effect synergies, advantages and benefits of our group in every business activity undertaken.

ilyWater Sec to r – The Water Projects and Special Projects Division engages in providing water supply and drainage systems to utility providers, irrigation systems, purification, sewerage systems and recording systems. Apart from the main divisional activities, the group operates a subsidary company named Access Natural Water (Pvt.) Ltd., which supplied purified water to the consumer market.

Med ica l Sec to r – is addressed by the Medical Division through partnerships with industry leading equipment vendors and offers high calibre medical equipment to the healthcare industry.

Av ia t i on Sec to r – the group addresses the Aviation Sector through Access International Projects (Pvt) Ltd. This entity is engaged in partnerships to provide aircrafts, parts, airport related systems and logistical systems required for the aviation Industry.

Genera l Trad ing Sec to r – is addressed via three divisions within the group. The Machinery and Equipment Division specilaizes in supply of industrial machinery and specialized materials. The Interiors Division specializes in providing material required in the construction industry for interior finishes. The Agencies Division provides cutting-edge household and workplace accessories.
