The following slides describe the changes that will be loaded to
the production system on the 31st October
2014.

Overview – Airline Screen Changes
Dear Calogi Subscriber, Our latest programme load on the 31st
October 2014 includes system enhancements and changes which will
simplify and improve the way in which you conduct your business.
Please take time to go through the following presentation. The
changes are as follows: 1- Issuing Agent configuration 2- Adhoc
Rate
1. Issuing Agent configuration for Adhoc stock: This feature
allows airlines to select the ‘Issuing Agent’ who will appear on
the printed AWB and on the FWB. The effect is that the details
relating to the selection will appear in the ‘Issuing Carriers
Agent Name and City,’ the ‘agents IATA code’ and ‘the signature of
issuing carrier or his agent’ on both the printed air waybill and
the FWB. The selection can be done from the following options. a.
Stock holding agent b. Executing agent (the forwarder who actually
executes the air waybill) Example A : If the stockholder releasing
the stock to the Calogi pool wishes to have their details appearing
as the Issuing Agent on the AWB and FWB , then “Stock holding agent
“ should be selected. Example B : If the stockholder releasing the
stock to the Calogi pool wishes to have the details of the
executing agent appearing as the Issuing Agent on the AWB and FWB ,
then “Executing agent “ should be selected.

Configuring issuing agent: Example A: Post promote airlines will
have an additional combo box which will be defaulted as stock
holding agent. If this selection is left unchanged, then the
stockholder details will appear as the Issuing Agent on the AWB and
FWB.

AWB print and view: Example A: The print and view of AWB will
display the ‘Stock holding Agent’ name & signature as issuing
agent.

FWB sample: Example A: The FWB Sample will display the stock
holding agent as issuing agent.

Configuring issuing agent: Example B: Post promote if the
airline selects the ‘Executing Agent’ as Issuing Agent, the
executing agents details will appear as the Issuing Agent on the
AWB and FWB..

AWB View and Print: Example B: The print and view of AWB will
display the ‘Executing Agent’ name & signature as issuing
agent.

FWB sample: Example B: The FWB Sample will display the Executing
agent as issuing agent.

2. Adhoc Rate:
We have enhanced the Adhoc rate feature enabling the airlines to
provide adhoc rate to freight forwarders through the following
listed four options. i. Flat Rate : Flat rate will be applied along
with other due carrier charges ii. All Inclusive- Flat Rate : Flat
rate will be applied inclusive of other due carrier
charges iii. Rate Per KG : Per kg rate will be applied along
with other due carrier charges iv. All Inclusive- Rate per KG : Per
kg rate will be applied inclusive of other due
carrier charges.

Adhoc rate response: Prior to the programme load two options
were available for airline to action the adhoc rate [ Flat or Rate
per KG ].

Overview – Freight Forwarders Screen Changes

simplify and improve the way in which you conduct your business.
Please take time to go through the following presentation. The
changes are as follows:
Adhoc Rate: The airline will be able to provide you the adhoc
rate with four options on the basis of the following. i. Flat Rate
: Flat rate will be applied along with other due carrier charges
ii. All Inclusive- Flat Rate : Flat rate will be applied inclusive
of other due carrier
charges iii. Rate Per KG : Per kg rate will be applied along
with other due carrier charges iv. All Inclusive- Rate per KG : Per
kg rate will be applied inclusive of other due
carrier charges.

Prior to the programme load adhoc rate could only be quoted on
rate per kg/Flat basis on applicable weight decided by the
airline.

Post promote load you will see the Adoc rate type response from
the airline along with the applicable minimum weight and/or
applicable maximum weight if specified by the airline and the
options are; 1. Flat Rate 2. All Inclusive- Flat Rate 3. Rate Per
KG 4. All Inclusive Per KG

Post promote load you will be able to view the basis on which
the adhoc rate is applied on execution screen against the rate
line
