Haptic Interactions In Real & Virtual World

In human and machines, haptics refers to the use of hands for manualsensing and manipulation. Haptic machines that enable the user totouch, feel and manipulate virtual environments have generatedconsiderable excitement. Virtual environment generally refers to thevirtual reality.

GSM based Fantasy House

Everyone fantasizes about staying in a home where everything isautomatically controlled and we just enjoy the show.

This project aims at building a Smart Futuristic Home where all the devicesare controlled through a Micro-controller These devices can be switchedON/OFF at regular intervals of time and can also be controlled by sendingan SMS.

This is the latest technology, which enables us to sit anywhere and

control the devices at the remote end, which are in a GSM network areaand are connected to a GSM MODEM. The Profiling of the house iscontrolled by sending a message and can support up to 8 profiles.

The profiling is especially useful when we wish that the houseshould behave differently for different occasion. Some of the profiles thatcan be supported can be:
