CONCEPT AND APPROACH
In this concept of CULTURAL PLANNING the notion of
culture is taken as the broad, defining framework and in fact all encompassing in an attempt to look at the
city as a cultural phenomena.
Cultural phenomena are charcterised by their fluid nature, their interactivity, their developmental character and their constant communication.
The city as a cultural phenomena is thus not just the infrastructure . But also the values, the beliefs, the symbols and the stories, the people and the skils, the processes, networks and communications.

• The mappings will all be presented as public “art” programmes as exhibitions, public projections, walks, dinners etc
