PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Team HARD took such an interest in Lewis
that they would like to work with him going
forward, beginning in the VW Racing Cup.
‘Being recognised by Team HARD and being associated with them going forward could be the start of something really big & exciting. I can’t wait.I hope the following information will give you a good insight into the championship and the team and the opportunities it presents. Thank you for your time I look forward to any thoughts and ideas you have.’Regards, Lewis
WELCOME TOLEWIS RYDER MOTORSPORT Lewis began his racing career in karting
aged 12, learning and improving through
five seasons of racing, but his height
ultimately counting against him.
He graduated to cars in 2017, when the
opportunity arose to race a VW Golf at
Silverstone, and instantly felt at home,
qualifying the car third in class in his first
qualifying session.
Having picked up three trophies from his
first five races, including two class wins,
Lewis took the opportunity to take his
racing to the next level, through the Team
HARD Racing scholarship.
After two days of driving assessments,
fitness tests and media interviews, Lewis
was chosen as one of five, out of 100
entrants, to take part in a final shoot-out,
an impressive feat considering his
lack of experience compared to the
other finalists.

that experiences can offer unprecedented
networking and team building opportunities.
Through the enormous business hub of Team
HARD Racing, we can offer hospitality at
racing events along with experience days.
Successfully used by partners, race hospitality
has a proven track record when it comes to
providing an environment for companies to
strengthen ties with suppliers, clients and
staff when used as either an incentive or
reward in marketing strategies.
There will be Volkswagen hospitality available
at every VW Racing Cup meeting, dedicated to
looking after drivers, family and partners, with
comfortable seating inside and outside with
full breakfast and lunch with refreshments.
This is the perfect way to entertain our
partners and their guests, providing a great
base for networking opportunities.
LOOKING FORWARDAs with many racing drivers Lewis’s goal
is to compete at the pinnacle of British
Motorsport, the British Touring Car
Championship. The VW Racing Cup is one of
the best entry level series into competitive
racing in the UK, with media coverage and
exposure that can challenge other series’
that operate on a much higher budget.
The next logical step for Lewis Ryder
Motorsport would be to graduate to a series
on the high profile TOCA package, which
supports the British Touring Cars at every
round on the calendar, such as the Ginetta
G55 Supercup. This would be the ideal
series of choice, as it opens up a path into
the BTCC, but also to GT and endurance
racing, and is also a series in which Team
HARD Racing are extremely competitive,
with multiple race wins already in 2018. To
compete in the Ginetta GT4 Supercup, Lewis
Ryder Motorsport will have to raise twice
the budget than that is required for the VW
Racing cup, but due to the profile of the
series, partners will have access to much
larger amounts of brand exposure, as can be
seen on the following page.
