A WORD TO TEACHER

The teachers should be a friend and guide to the students Motivate the students in studying the text book Appreciate the progress made by the students and congratulate their achievements Adopt child centered approach Use technology aided teaching. Give importance to eye more than ear. Wherever possible go beyond text book, give examples and illustrations in day to day life. Encourage group discussions and group activities in class Develop critical thinking in the child by encouraging him to develop his own questions. Give practice to draw well labeled diagrams.

Ensure that the students solve the question paper given in the study material so that they develop confidence in answering the board papers.

A WORD TO STUDENTS

The students should have planned and a systematic method of study of the text book. Practice the questions given in the study material as it covers the entire syllabus. Practice to draw the diagrams as suggested in the study material. Ensure that the

diagrams are labeled correctly. Give importance to application type of questions Read the questions well before answering. Understand what is asked and answer to the

point. Write paragraphs where necessary but avoid answer to point so that you will have

sufficient time to complete the paper. Tie the papers properly, and in order before submitting them. Read all the chapters carefully. The study material is student friendly. So make the maximum use of it. If not able to answer, skip to the next question. DON’T WASTE THE TIME on one question.
