This following document is a partial listing of women-owned businesses in
Lincoln and Lancaster County. It was created by the Women’s Foundation, the
non-profit organization that carries out projects initiated by the Mayor’s
Commission on Women. The core group of businesses was gathered from a
previous list of women- and minority-owned businesses compiled by the Human
Rights Commission of Lincoln. Further names and information were gathered
from owners who requested participation in the project.
Inclusion in this document does not indicate endorsement either by the
Mayor’s Office or the Women’s Foundation and we reserve the right to edit or
remove a vendor from the directory at our discretion. It was our goal to produce a
workable, user-friendly list of businesses that are owned, totally or in part, by
women in our community. It will be added to as we gain more submissions and we
encourage participation.
